Does anyone wax at home? I'm talking about the no-no.
I recently got a Brazilian and loved it. The regrowth is nothing like shaving and doesn't give me the nasty bumps like shaving does. Plus a bunch of tea tree oil applied daily, does help the bumps.
My mom owns a hair salon and I was thinking of buying my own hot wax station for reasons of the no-no. I'm sure I could use her wax setup but I'd rather have my own. Does anyone DIY waxing at home? I do my eyebrows with microwave wax but I know it's not even close to the same. It's just so expensive to get waxed every month for me, definitely not in my budget.

I tried waxing at home and it was a fail, but I haven't tried no-no. www.my-no-no.com/ Although, I have done brazilians at a salon before and it took a long time and was extremely painful.
Honestly, I would recommend that you check out groupon and get laser hair removal. It takes about a fraction of the time, and was much less painful than waxing and I have better results! I will never go back to waxing. If I have any hair growth now after the laser, it's pretty much peach fuzz.
I get a brazilian monthly (I found a really cheap but great place), and I have waxed the sides (bikini line) at home, but I don't dare to do it all by myself.
One of the ladies who used to do my waxing in the past told me she would do it for herself using a mirror.
OMG I could never give myself a Brazilian! OUCH. I tried to get a Brazilian once and had to make her stop and she ended up only doing the Bikini Line, which I loved but never got again because it hurt too much. I think I'd have to go under general anesthesia to get a Brazilian.
"This prick is asking for someone here to bring him to task Somebody give me some dirt on this vacuous mass so we can at last unmask him I'll pull the trigger on it, someone load the gun and cock it While we were all watching, he got Washington in his pocket."
If we're talking in code, I'm not sure what my answer is, since there are various code-named anatomical areas down there.
I could probably wax the area around my anus (with some stretching first, since it requires a bit of flexibility) but there's no way I would do my outer labia. Youch.
There are some things I will only let a professional do...one of which is rip the hairs from my vagina and ass with hot wax.
I honestly don't think I could even do it if I wanted. I would get the wax applied then cry as I tried to remove then I'd have to sit in a bath and probably have hardened wax in my pubes for who know how long.
I do everything but bikini at home. But, that's because I'm fat and can't contort myself like needed in order to be able to pull the strip without taking most of my epidermis. Ironically, I can do the "back" with no problem.

Totally agree.
I tried to wax my underarms at home once - and it totally ended with me crying in a hot shower while trying to peel the wax off. A DIY brazilian is a non starter for me.
I used to fairly successfully give myself semi-brazilians for a while (I wasn't able to do the full buttcrack, but pretty much everything else) until one fateful day, when I had waited too long between waxes and somehow managed to get some wax clumping with hair in a big mess on one side outer labia. I ended up having to carefully tear it out/ cut off hair/wax clump. It was painful, awkward and resulted in me never attempting to DIY again.

This is definitely not something I'd try to DIY. I did recently try a nair type product with terrible results. If you are in a decent size metro area, there are probably inexpensive brazilian wax places. I go to a place that charges $35, does a good job, and I only go every 6 weeks.
I waxed my labia once, pulled the wrong way (out not down) and tore the skin between my inner and outer labs apart. I used Sally at home wax and muslin strips but haven't done it since. No no is right. No.

I tried DIY waxing with the lunen strips and whatnot once, in a fiasco that ended with me wax-gluing my sparsely-haired labia to a tile floor. Never again.

My camper one summer used the prepared wax strips without realizing her anatomy and waxed her labia down the middle--they were waxed shut!
