I've worn a sari fewer than 5 times in my life so no new one. Hmm, might go buy some kaju barfi though. Happy Diwali!
I have a few saris that I have bought over the years, but never have an occasion/reason to wear them. I've started to but I need my mom's help to wrap it. I've tried to learn, but since I rarely wear them, it's a skill I have yet to master.

Use this as an excuse and get a lehenga sari!! So easy to wear!!
Nothing planned. We bought gulab jamun last night and I'll probably pick up some Ras Malai (?) because it's my favourite. I'll do the rangoli and light some diyas too.

Maybe for my cousin's wedding. I drool over how pretty some of the lenghas and saris are now and wish I had more of a chance to wear them. I should just wear it around the house, haha!

Happy Diwali! Mom told me it was tomorrow, so confused. We don't do much but I'll light some candles tonight.
South Indians celebrate today and North Indians celebrate tomorrow. But since it technically began on Monday with Dhanteras, I've started eating ALL THE SWEETS. (Not that I ever need an excuse.)

My in laws are celebrating tomorrow (Punjabi) but I like to start the day before.
