I went to the Motley Crue concert last night. Alice Cooper opened. I didn't know much of his music but he put on a great show and was in awe that he is 66 years old and is still so energetic. His show had everything - snakes, murder, a guillotine, frankenstein and bubbles.
Motely Crue put on a great show. Lots of pyrotechnics and the drum solo was just amazing. I can see why it's their final tour though, Vince can't hit many of the notes now and I'm pretty sure Mick may be dead in 5 years. He has some sort of degenerative disease and looks awful.
We got home at midnight and my poor H had to get up at 3 for work this morning. I took today off and got the pantry reorganized, my closet reorganized, painted part of the hallway and refinished our garden bench.
Needed the screen replaced on my work phone. Our wireless dept gave me a budget of $150. Battery store quoted me $199. I told them my budget was $150 and started to leave. They stopped me and agreed to do it for $155. Perhaps the easiest negotiation ever.
My H's coworker has had his Xmas tree set up for weeks now. Coworker loves Xmas.

I met Alice a few times at fundraising events in Phoenix (where he lives, at least part of the time). He commented on my tattoos once. That's probably my closest brush with celebrity interaction.

It was hard to reconcile the guy you see at the Celebrity Pro-Am golf tournaments in a visor and golf pants with the rocker, dressed head to toe in black with a snake around his neck
He would do a really dark song and then boom, bubble machine
Well, to be more confusing - it's Thursday here...
I have a phone call/interview with the guy who will be my boss in the new company merger in a few minutes. I hope this goes well. He's not a fan of telework, so it's a hard sell...
I have prepped what I can, but I really have no idea where the call is going to go, topic-wise.

I think it's time for doggy xanax.
We've moved to a new place, and I thought we were making progress. Twice last week we left him out and came home to everything intact. Then we had to go back to our old place for a few days.
I tried again this week, and he destroyed any and all paper he could find. Back to the crate he went in the afternoon, after we checked on him.
Today, we went with the crate from the get go. DH came home at lunch, and all was well. I came home after class, and the carpet is wet and bloody, and his scruff is soaked.
I spent the afternoon catching up on last season's Downton Abbey with my sister. She is getting ready to have her first baby and I think it is hitting her hard that her time is not going to be her own soon.
Thanks to the thread on here about making vanilla extract as Christmas gifts, I'm making a bunch! Just bought booze and all of the stuff and am absurdly excited :-)
It is the easiest thing EVAR. Not to mention tasty when used in baking recipes.
