I like the shirts more than the video, to be honest. I mean, trust me, I *get* it, but I don't think anyone who isn't already aware/doesn't already agree with their points is going to learn anything from it. It's a good fundraising video though, because I kinda want to buy a shirt.

It definitely made me laugh, and the "1 in 5" fact where they counted out themselves and asked which one it will be made my heart hurt. It reminded me of the article I saw her earlier this year with girls saying why they don't need feminism, and I think a lot of people don't understand what being a feminist really is. I love the shirts, I will definitely be buying one.

There is currently a man in my town who is attacking women at night, he's had seven victims in six weeks. The most recent girl, who I sort of know, had her nose broken on both sides as well as the orbital bone in her face. I hate that walking to my car after work is actually something to be afraid of now.

I watched the whole thing, but what I didn't like was the delivery. I don't care about saying fuck, but I hated the yelling, and thought the overall tone was kinda trashy.  As I've seen said elsewhere, it was low-brow, reality tv, shock value.  Which is fine if you want to sell shirts, but if you want to start a dialogue about the ISSUES rather than the COMMERCIAL, this is not the way to go.
