Realistically, most people need three hands to do a good wax that doesn't leave bruising or is too painful. When I get mine done, I'm pulling and stretching my pizza-dough-like skin as tight as I can get it so my aesthetician can get it all cleaned up.
bebeetmoiTrudyCampbell - you guys flip over for the anus? My gal asks me to put my knees to my chest.
kandrze1 I don't take anything for the pain. It's really not that bad and it's over in the blink of an eye. It's more painful if your hair is longer. I go every three-four weeks. The hair becomes really thin and fine overtime and much less painful.
I do, but clearly everyone does it differently. Between living in Boston, NYC and now New England I've never had anyone ask me to put my legs to my chest. But I don't really have any shame, so as long as the job gets done I don't care!
This is so strange to me because I've been to a variety of places and I've always done knee to chest! Weird.

I've always gone to the mean, Russian women for my waxes. Who always do a great job, but they mean business with that stuff. The lady who I went to all 4 years of college in Boston told me that it's important to get regular waxes and wear high heels as often as possible so I can find myself a rich husband. No joke. Lol

Will you be embroidering that onto a pillow or shall I?
