Oh, no, it was more of a community outreach/response from the cdc to disseminate correct information about Ebola. I guess they're doing a series of these conference calls w/ question & answer, the idea being that you can take pertinent information back to your group/church. I wasn't aware of this model of pr/community health. I thought the format was interesting.
I did joke that he should ask the guy for a job lead.
"Hi, this is Larry at the CDC. Please tell your folks that essential oils and Jesus will not cure Ebola. Kthanksbye"
No questions like that!!! He said it was pretty much all stuff he knew and that the worst question was if a sore throat was a symptom. Not too bad. My guess is, if you seriously thought praying and a splash of eo was going to save you, you wouldn't have called into a cdc call.
One of my good friends is a respiratory therapist in our ER. She told me that last night, her boss called and asked her if she had any Ebola like symptoms and to please report any travel to west Africa immediately. She got this call WHILE AT WORK. I don't know why I thought this was so funny.
