What shoes with wide leg pants?

I just bought a few pair.  Ballet flats? I'd rather not do heels unless I have to.  Pretty sure I'm going to have to surrender my teacher dansko clogs though:)

I usually do wedges with wide-leg jeans. Or ballet flats.

I never wear wide legs with flats. They just get swallowed up, KWIM? The proportion is wrong. I can wear flats with skinnies, but for a wide leg I need a more substantial shoe that won't be overpowered by a bold trouser silhouette.
The only time I could picture a flat shoe with wide legs would be if you were going for a boho look with distresses wide leg jeans with a funky peasant top then flat studded gladiator sandals... but that's just me. Try it out on yourself and see how you feel about it first.

I think pointed toe shoes or wedges (depending on length of the pant) look best with wide leg pants. So try a pointed toe flat if the pants aren't too long.

If you can't wear heels I agree this is your best bet. Just make sure the length is right like in this pic.

We have no shoe issue because they both looked like pajama pants on me. Sent back.
