I have no interest in gambling. I've played some of the machines before, but it doesn't really appeal to me. The hotel I'm in has a casino. I decided to stay in my room and order room service. I also ordered two glasses of wine and when the guy delivered my order he explained where the bar was to me. I didn't ask. Lol

I do occasionally. When we were in Vegas, I did, but just played the slots. I love Blackjack, but my money would be gone in a heartbeat playing it in Vegas lol.
We go to the casino boat in town probably twice a year and I will gamble some them. The most I've made is $25 on the penny slots lol.
The way I look at it is like any other form of entertainment. I go in with a set amount I will spend and stop playing when it's gone. H and I usually find slots next to each other and talk while we play, have some drinks, etc. It's fun, but nothing I take seriously.
No. We stopped at a casino in Aruba to use a free promo gift card we got at the airport. It was $5. We were up to $11 then dropped to $8.37 and cashed out. The cashier gave H $8.30 and when he stood there for another minute was like, "Uh, did you want your $0.07?" and he was like, "Yes, I'll take it in pennies, thanks."
I don't. H's new hobby is trying to determine which horse races to bet on (using stats) that will earn us money in the long term. He hasn't perfected it yet, fortunately he's only doing $1 bets!
I love gambling. I totally get why some people drain their life savings, it is such a high when you're on a roll and your chips grow higher and higher and you start getting more colors.
I just set aside xx amount and that's all I get. When I start getting colors (so 25+) I keep them to cash out. I usually don't end up walking away with much more than I started with, but it is generally hours of entertainment.

We go to the casino maybe twice a year, usually on the way to the beach. We eat dinner there and maybe spend $60 on slots. DH won $1400 once and I won $300. We win more than we spend.

I like it, but only if I'm winning. Ha!
But really, I get too nervous when any significant amount of money is being gambled (and to me, $10 is significant, especially when it's lost hand after hand).
I always say I'd rather just go shopping and get something for my money.
DH loves to gamble, mostly poker. He's usually pretty lucky with it too. He also bets on sports sometimes.
I love craps, especially if I can find a table with a low minimum. I don't bet a lot, but I love that if one persona at a table wins, generally the whole table wins. Makes it more fun when everyone is excited about a roll.

I used to like playing slots, but once the casinos went to slips of paper, instead of coins, it lost its appeal. I love the sound of coins dropping, and shaking the bucket of quarters.
