The contractor just put on some of the cabinet pulls and the one on the pull out trash is 3/4" off center. DH is nutting up about it. I didn't notice it until he pointed it out. I mean, how hard is it to center it? This is the only pull that was installed so far that was horizontal. The problem is this is right under the silverware drawer, so to match up that one would have to be off center too. DH has already ordered a replacement door for $90. If there was one thing in the kitchen that needed to be perfect, these handles are it. I didn't even mention he didn't put the 4" ones where I told him too either. Fortunately, there were only 4 of those. He still has to install 7 more horizontal pulls, I have to get longer screws though. The ones that came with the handles are too short.

I put post-its to mark where I wanted the pull. Like just the sticky part, I cut a bar-shape out of and wrote "pull" or cut a circle out of it and put a K in a circle for "knob." Beyond that, though, they should definitely center them! It's just that for me some were at the top for some and at the bottom for others, etc.

I'd ask the contractor for reimbursement for new doors. A contractor that can't find center on a drawer deserves to pay out of his own pocket to learn that lesson.
This reminds me of when my contractor put my new door handle on crooked on my brand new front door. It was one of those long handled fancy front door knobs. The bottom of the handle was slightly off center to the top of the handle square. He didn't notice it but it was the first thing I saw. I don't understand how they can mess up the simple parts of the job. I hope he pays for your new doors and fixes it correctly for you.. or better yet as previous people mentioned. I'd just DIY because then I know it would get done correctly.
