I wish I could tell you guys my married last name. It actually gets butchered worse than anything. It is pronounced the same as an old-timey male first name, but spelled differently. But even if I literally stand there and spell it out for someone, they will spell it wrong. And even if they are looking right at it, they will pronounce it wrong by leaving out one specific letter. Always the same letter, lol.

I'm Maria and get Gloria on the phone constantly.
My last name is one syllable and not that strange. There is a pretty popular celebrity with the same last name. Yet, it is constantly butchered. I don't get it.
My entire life, if someone was going to call me by the wrong name they will always either call me Marsha or Nancy - neither is even remotely close to my actual name.
Not me, but H goes by AJ and is constantly being called Adrian. The only thing with my name is that people generally default to the nickname (which I do use here because bostonjennifer just sounds weird). I prefer Jennifer but almost without fail when I introduce myself to someone new they say, "nice to meet you, Jen."
I am glad you love your name since that is my daughter's name (Same spelling
Yay! I do love my name I have heard a lot of Romeo and Juliet jokes over the years, not gonna lie, but I also get so many compliments on it. It's nice when people say "you know I don't hear that name often but it's so beautiful!"

I go by Jen, but it's weird when strangers use the nickname.
The name I go by is very short and very common but still every now and then someone switches out one letter to make it a very common man's name. Not a 'Pat' name either; more along the lines of pretty gender obvious 'Dave.'
My first name is Joey. I have gotten every possible variation, Jody, Jolie, Julie, Joyce. And since I respond to letters from borrowers, who may not speak to me, I get Mr. LN. When some one calls for me, and ask to speak to `Mr.` LN, my coworkers has to tell them, she is a woman.

My married name is not common. At all. It is kinda close to an actors last name though so people will just use that pronunciation which is wrong, and spell it wrong because of this pronunciation. It is comical because my maiden name is the equivalent of smith in prevalence.
People could not get my maiden name even when I spelled it for them without saying them first.
My first and married names are pretty easy.
Sometimes people call me by other A first names. I don't really care unless I actually will be dealing with them regularly. I don't go to Starbucks, but at Panera or whatever, sure, I'll be Amy today. I don't care.
My married last name is awful. I cringe whenever I have to spell it because people are always messing that up (they hear Z, B, C, anything but the millions of Vs that are in it) and when people try to read it, dear god. My mother still messes it up and I've been married 8 years and with my DH for 10.5 years.
My name get pronounced and spelled wrong a lot. It is not a super uncommon name but my HS assistant basketball coach announced that he would just call me "Jill" because he just couldn't remember my first name.
I get Bethany and Tiffany a lot. My last name starts with a Y, but when I spell it out, so many people put a W on it instead and it comes out close to whack-a-mole.
I get called Bethany all the time too. My sister just named my Niece this. I'm waiting for the day she tells someone about the baby (Bethany) having a blowout, and them thinking it is me.
I also get called Jennifer. All the time. It's weird.
XH's first name is a famous old actor's last name. It's also one letter short of a regular boy's name. His own family often calls him by the wrong name. And things always get filed by his first name, thinking it's his last name.
My maiden name is equivalent to Smith, and you would not believe how many times people have asked me how to spell it. It's not a word that has an alternative spelling.
