I am starting to see my bills creep up, and I get billed separately for them. My water bill this month was $27 and my sewer bill was $37. It seems high. I did have a running toilet that H finally fixed so I think that is why it crept up this month, though. Normally my water bill is around $20 and my sewer bill is around $30 for a combined $50. But that still seems high to me for water/sewer. Just curious what others pay. Normally we use anywhere from around 2000-2500 gallons a month which is like 3.75-3.5 HCF according to my bill.

About $60/month for 2 adults and 2 kids. Closer to $80 in the summer if we water the lawn. Sewer is the more expensive part of the bill, usually about a $35/$25 split, but I don't pay close attention to the split since they are billed together.
Water Bill-Texas (we have a septic), this also includes garbage 2x per week= $32-38. We also have a pool, garden and lots of company. We are also in stage 4 drought conditions.
Michigan- we are about to get sewers (still have well, I don't know WHY they didn't do water at the same time) this is upsetting because we are only there 2-4 weeks per year. $54 is the current estimated MONTHLY cost. Only 122 of us in the town will have to pay, grrrr. Installation $8k plus $2500 to hook up and destroy old septic.
We are on well and septic. In-town residents who have water, sewer, and trash pay about $100 a month for all 3. I think it's around $48 for water, $36-38 for sewer, and $16 for trash/recycling. The trash and recycling is a good deal but the water and sewer are high!
When we lived in Pennsylvania, our water/sewer bill was $35-40/month. When we moved to Georgia, it jumped up to $50-60/month with no significant change in usage.
My water last month was $300 but that included an $85 deposit. We quickly changed the sprinklers from daily (thank you landlord) to every other day and hopefully it'll go down this month. I believe sewer is based on how much water we use but it's all included in the one bill and I don't have a break down of it.
We own a rental house in a small village an hour away. That little village has a huge up-ground reservoir and sells waters to all the surrounding communities. They all get it MUCH cheaper than village residents and this reservoir will take 50 or 75 years to pay off. The water bill there is outrages, I don't have the figures here with me but the bill for that house (our tenants pay it) is at least twice what we pay. We pay about $115 quarterly for 2 of us in the house. We have 2 tenants in the house and they are paying two or more times what we pay.

Normal is around $55/month. Over the summer, we jumped to 65 then 85 before we realized both toilets were running and an outside faucet was dripping. It was back down the next month.
Edit: our water company came over at maybe 4 am and checked the meter then called to tell us we had a leak. It was spinning at a time water would not normally be used.

Fuck this has confirmed that we pay a shit ton. I just paid our last bill today. Covering 2 months and it was $400 for water and sewer. We have sprinklers but have a tiny yard and use them sparingly only in the summer months. 2 adults and we try to conserve as much as possible.
I've been worried that we had a water leak somewhere, but H didn't think so ( he shut our sprinklers and house water off and the meter wasn't moving). I might have to look into it again. I just asked my Dad the other day bc ours seemed high Nd his is $150/month in summer in eastern Washington. Anyone else want to chime in switch what they Pay in Seattle???
we don't pay for sewer as we have a septic system. For water, it varies between $11/month to $100/month ($11 Nov-March) $100 (Sept/October after we seed/fertilize and have the run the sprinklers every day, twice a day)
