So it took me 40 min from when I got in line to passing security. You know what's not allowed inside? Food and water. You know what counts as food, ebeth and gt7301b?
The look on the security lady's face when se saw the cupcake box was priceless.
I did make a new friend in line with a lovely woman from Dallas as she and I stuffed our faces with beautiful chocolate cupcakes! Sorry, DH!
What your H doesn't know won't hurt him! Was it the most delicious cupcake ever? Did the lady from Dallas like them?
At least you got to eat it. TSA took my yogurt that I planned for a plane snack once.

It's already 66 degrees outside. At 4:30 am. What the fuck. It was supposed to be in the low 50s. What is happening?? Something miraculous needs to happen with the weather in the next 3-4 hours.

Sunrise isn't until 7:20ish. It will cool down.
Good luck ladies! Have fun! It is going to be a great day. Now to make the long commute and not have to use the bathroom until I make it to runner's village. Fingers crossed.

With the wind, the forecast is pretty much identical to Chicago. It didn't kill me. I never felt overheated, or defeated by the wind, just at times missing my visor to block all that gorgeous sunshine.
If you'd like examples of bullshit race weather: The half that I ran in which it rained over 4 inches in 2 hours. The half that I ran in which it SLEETED on me the entire fucking time. The Tough Mudder in MD that I did under a tornado warning. RnR Virginia Beach, where it was 85 degrees an hour before the sun came up, with a heat index pushing 100 during the actual race.
This. Eez nothing.
And this is why you are becoming a double agent of craziness! You are badass to run in all those nasty conditions. I'm a fanatic, but the worst I've dealt with so far is a little bit of drizzle!
You guys are all totally going to rock your race today!!

Uh yah. That VB RNR in 2012 had more DNFs that year due to the 100 degree heat and humidity than any other race. It is BEAUTIFUL this morning at 55 degrees right now! FSU ladies!!!
