No, damnit! You guys are supposed to say how awesome it is :(Ssigh, we'll probably keep watching it just to see if it picks up, but I don't have my hopes as high now. It's just not sucking me in like Prison Break, Dexter, or House of Cards. Plus, seeing the dad from Malcom in the Middle wearing tighty whities all the time makes me want to vom. I have no desire to see that much man thigh on any guy.

I thought Breaking Bad was fantastic. One of the most well written shows I've watched, IMO.
Did it start out slow for you? Please tell me it gets better. I want to love it, I really do, it's just on the same level as Weed (s? I can't remember if it's plural or not) right now. Not awesome, but something worthwhile enough to waste my time on.
I hate bacon from a fying pan. The best bacon is Oscar Mayer low sodium bacon cooked on papertowels in the microwave, 4 pieces at a time, on one of those ridgy bacon trays. It's perfectly cooked and crunchy and not slimy or greasy.
I told my H this when we started living together and he was so appalled that he threatened to leave. I've converted him though. It is the only thing in 14 years he has admitted he was wrong about.
Sorry, I just opened this thread and haven't read past the first post because I threw up in my mouth. A lot. Bacon in the microwave makes my stomach turn.
Breaking Bad was awesome. H and I couldn't stop watching it; like, I think we finished it in record time because as soon as DS was in bed we RACED downstairs to watch.
Actual UO today - mostly because I know there's a lot of PA people on here so I'm sure it will be unpopular.
I think PA drivers are the WORST, they are just awful. We're close enough to the border that our area is just inundated with them and I swear I cringe whenever I get behind a PA tag. They drive below the speed limit, don't know how to merge, and just....ugh!

Which border? Pennsylvania is a large state, bordering 6 states I believe. Not many people go below the speed limit here.

Lol MD. And seriously....Soooooo sloooowww!!!! Even when I go into PA it's just horrible!
He was the main reason I kept watching it, even when it started to get redundant. He is probably the sexiest guy alive. I'm dying at your last sentence
I hated the ending, because even his fictional character dying is not ok! Kill anybody else off, just not him!!
Seriously. I couldn't even keep watching The Walking Dead because his chick was in it and I was all pissed at her for not still being in mourning for Michael Scofield.
I have issues. DH was starting to get worried about me. I yelled at him every time he talked when he was onscreen.

It took a few episodes to really get into it, if I remember correctly. But eventually we were racig to watch while DS was asleep. We would watch like 3 episodes a night.

I think MA drivers are the worst. I cringe every time I see one, I just know they will live up to their nickname. Massholes.

You all should come out to NM. We are on the top of an actual official list of worst drivers in the country and I have never in my life seen such fuckery while driving.

Florida drivers. Dude. There are no words!
Speed limit is 70. I'll be going 75/78. People fly around me doing 90 like I'm going 35!!!!

This is hilariously specific, but I hate cleaning bacon grease off of the stovetop or the inside of the oven so I might make my H try this.

Hey now, not all of us are Massholes.
Come to socal. You haven't lived until you have journeyed through the 101/405 south interchange aka the busiest freeway in the country...during morning rush hour. Bwahaha. Drivers here are insane!

You people are making me want to go back and watch the first season of Breaking Bad again to see if it really was as good as I remember it. Because I remember it being crazy good, and I initially wasn't interested in watching it because the premise sounded kind of dumb to me. I apparently have a fascination with shows that are gruesomely violent, though, because I am also in love with Sons of Anarchy and that shit is crazy too. (No one say anything, I've got two episodes waiting for me on the TiVo for this weekend!).
Bacon is tough to get right. I like mine kind of crispy and kind of chewy, but with no squishy fat left on it. I do it in the oven and it usually does not come out perfectly, but it's better than no bacon at all.
My UO: we spent one night in a hotel last week with all three kids, and it was a damn nightmare. No one slept at all, everyone cried most of the night and we were all cranky the next day (especially me), and based on that experience I can say that any desire I might have had to travel with my children is gone and I have no idea how other people do it and find it enjoyable.
