I have anxiety--cat related (update in OP)

My sweet Sandy cat isn't feeling well.  She's my diabetic 16.5 year old.  I'm bringing her to the vet after work. She's been vomiting clear water, having loose bowel movements and urinated right next to the litter box yesterday morning.  She's eating and drinking...but she's just not right.  I also was able to hear very loud stomach/intestinal sounds while sitting next to her last night.  I'm worried that she can have something really serious going on and that she may not be healthy enough to make it through and be well again.  I'm so nervous and sad.  

Update #1- saw the vet.  She lost 2 lbs since June. They are running bloodwork which will be back tomorrow.  She was put on a course of antibiotics in the meantime.
