former Nestie with cancer (AletheaP)

Hi ladies.  I post here from time to time, and I came over from the Nest.  I know many of you posted over there as well, so I wanted to post this in case anyone knew my friend.

Alethea was diagnosed with metastatic melanoma about 6 months ago.  She has done radiation and chemo, but the prognosis was never good.  SHe is now at her end.  She is using hospice, and they dont expect her to live more than a few days.  Her fiance has been by her side through all of this.  They are getting married this weekend in a quiet backyard ceremony.  Below is the facebook page that was set up for her.  Prayers/good wishes for them and their special day!

I have been following Alethea's story (Getting updates from Jenandtonica...is that her Nest name? Anyway, Jenny M.), and I will definitely be sending so much light and love their way this weekend. It has been so inspiring to see the wedding come together!

I sorry to hear that she has taken a turn for the worse. Being from the Triangle, I remember her from my Knot/Nest days well. I was sorry I couldn't make the walk/bar crawl they did with her locally a few months ago.
