Dumb question about toddler bedding

When did you start giving your LO a blanket in the crib? My DS curently sleeps in a crib with just a fitted sheet but I have noticed he likes to snuggle blankets when he's awake and was thinking about throwing one in there at night. What blankets do your toddlers like?

I gave Z one at 6 or 7 months?

She now has 3 in her bed and she snuggles them all at once or individually.

They all 3 have a fleece feel but aren't, if that makes sense.

That does make sense! I feel dumb that I never thought to throw one in. Poor kid wants to get his snuggle on!! Lol

How old is your LO? We gave DS one his first winter, sooo....like, 8 months or so maybe? It gets really cold in our house so while he wasn't reeeaally covered up all night, I think it was still warmer for him to snuggle up with something.

We have two that are fleece that I alternate but he's just now kind of growing out of them. And, at 2 1/2, he MUST be TUUUUCCCKKKKEEEDDD IIINNN!!!!! every night. Seriously, kid drives me crazy. He doesn't even like his toes hanging out which is why I need to get bigger blankets stat.

When we switched her from the bassinet to the crib we gave her one. I felt like she would be cold! haha And we live in FL.
