DD woke at 4am, and despite my best efforts, never went back to sleep. At 6:15am we had this conversation-
Me: "DD why were you awake so early in the morning today?" DD: (shrugs her shoulders) "Because I wanted to see you, so I yell 'Mama mama mama mama!' and then I see you!!!" (Maniacal giggles ensue) Me: "Yes, I came and got you but sweetie mommy is tired so early in the morning" DD: "oh mommy just stop it. If I don't sleep, you don't sleep. It's OK, OK?"
Yes child, yes. When you don't sleep, I don't sleep. DEVIL!
That is too funny! (/evil) (/accurate). K is up early today too, but thankfully not that early. I'm considering making some hot chocolate.
I'm SO glad it's Friday! We don't have a lot of weekend plans, aside from the party where I get to be a wet blanket. It will be nice to have a mellow low-planned weekend.
I'm determined to not turn my heat on until Nov 1. I'm a big weenie and really need to get better at living with a slightly colder house in the winter. Our heating bills were out of control last year. But.......cold.
My other BIL is getting engaged tomorrow!! He planned a surprise dinner afterward for her so we can celebrate with them! I'm so so excited. She is such a sweetheart and I love them together.
The girls both slept all night and slept in!!!! L is still sleeping at 6:15 and C got up at 5:30. This will not last long since they are on vacation tired mode but still. I still got up early to exercise but at least they got some rest.
Of course a week before Halloween the girls change their mind what they want to be. L wants to be a my little pony and C wants to be Elsa or mermaid. Luckily we have the else costume because that's what L originally wanted to be.
Logan wandered into some you tube videos of people making cars out of play-doh last night and became obsessed. It took forever to get him to go to bed and then he woke up three times begging for play-doh cars.
No play-doh in bed dude. I threw out the last batch after someone (MIL) let him sneak a tub of it onto his crib at nap time. Not good.
I'm blaming H and all the candy he let L eat on their practice TOT run yesterday.
I am getting really tired of the 12-18 hour days MH is doing. Aside the fact that we'd like him around, he is fucking useless when he is here. He sits there while I'm running around getting breakfast, dressing A, trying to get myself ready, and doing he dishes from when he ate when he got home last night. And he just keeps saying "what can I do?" Look around and pick something! But I can't say anything, because he just worked an insane shift...

I really want to play hooky today. I have so many nit picking little unimportant things to do, but they are impossible to do with W around because he wants to help. And I'd like to get some stuff done so I can take him to the pumpkin patch about an hour away this weekend.
Ugh!!! It's 4:45 and due to a million random different things I have only slept about 3 hours total despite "going to bed at 9" because I didn't feel well. So tired and frustrated right now. Also I have a cold blah
When I dropped A off at school this morning, they had two tables set up in the office - one with coffee and pastries, and the other with little picture gifts for the parents. Apparently they are for parents day?! I did not know such a thing existed. It was so cute.
My stomach is sick this morning. IDK if it's the wine, or the LC pizza. Ugh.

Haha I'm sorry
Delaney always says "I just cried for you..." When I ask why she didn't nap. Also "I'm just awake"
I turned on my heat last week but it is only set to 67 because my husband is ridiculous. But I was waking up to our house being 63 degrees and that is too cold.
My coffee is exceptionally good today. But I am still exhausted.
Just found out I got accepted as press for the metro cooking dc event in November. Bobby flay, guy fieri, and a lot of dc chefs will be there. Super excited.

She's a riot. I hope you get lots of coffee today and a good nap!
The other night Olivia was taking ever to go to bed, crying until I cane in multiple times. I finally said, I'm not coming back in, I'm going to bed. Without missing a beat she said okay, I'll cry for daddy and he will come. I'll cry for you in the night instead. We are in trouble with these girls.

The thermometer in our kitchen is reading 70. H lost some weight after starting his new job and he's FREEZING. He turned the heat on one day, but we have hot water baseboard and it's LOUD so we quickly turned it off.
We have been using space heaters to get the chill out of the air.

Andrew fell asleep really late and woke up really early, so he's in a shitty mood this morning. His therapist should be here in a few minutes, so I'm looking forward to handing him over for a few hours.

I will pay you $50 to put a "Kick me" sign on guy Fieri's back.

Haha I don't think I will be there the same day as him. He is there on a Saturday and I would rather go on Sunday for the tasting event for the dc restaurants.

That's freaking hysterical. I think DD will still be the worse influence of the two... I suppose time will tell:)
