Randomness brought to you by the fact that my DH is currently sporting a goatee. It looks good, but it is so scratchy! I really, really dislike it. But, his face, his choice.
For those on the app: Does your male SO have facial hair (beard, goatee, moustache, etc.)? Yes - love it. Yes - indifferent. Yes - hate it. No - thankfully. No - with he did. SS
I know the poll leaves a some people out. Feel free to click SS and add whatever random thoughts you have on facial hair.
Dh isn't allowed to grow one, per company policy. Last week he was off the whole week and started to grow one, and I loved it. When we move I want him to grow it out (and get past the itchy stage) since he's never done it before.
Usually no. Sometimes he'll let it get a little scruffy, which I think is kind of hot. One time he had a mustache for a month or two, and I ridiculed him mercilessly.
I answered SS. When we first met, DH had a goatee. He kept it for quite a while. He shaved it off maybe 3 years ago? I can't even remember. He looks like a completely different person without it. Good, but different.
Sometimes he'll go a few days without shaving and look a little scruffy. It doesn't bother me at all. He has dark, thick hair, so it doesn't look creepy. It drives his mother absolutely crazy. She'll make comments about it the moment she walks in the door! I think he does it purposely to piss her off, now!
My H and I have been together for 19 years, and I have not once during that time seen him with anything more than a little stubble. I am pretty sure he would look totally ridiculous with facial hair--his hair is so fine and stick straight.

He can't have a beard (work rule) but he can have a moustache and I HATE when he grows it out. He looks like a creeper. He thinks he looks amazing. He actually had a moustache in last drivers license picture and he isn't smiling so he really looks like he should be driving a windowless van.
Yes, I prefer him with hair. He looks like a beebee with none. It's pretty standard in his line of work. A quarter of the guys have the whole "duck dynasty" type of beards, so I'm glad it's not that.

DH has a beard/mustache. He's shaved it twice. Once bc he jacked it up and had to; the other time he did it to make me laugh. He came in the bedroom and I was like WTF DID YOU DOOOOO? It grows back REALLY quickly though, so in 2 days it was like he didn't shave at all. I love it.
Of the 15yrs we've been together he's had facial hair probably 10. He's had a full beard for 6 or 7yrs now. I love it...his beard is soft & I like the way it smells...lol. Last time he shaved everything off I felt like I was kissing a little boy & it freaked me out. He hates that everyone has beards now so he keeps saying he's gonna shave. It'll be an adjustment for the girls and I.
He has a beard and I prefer him with it. He has a bit of a chubby face and the beard downplays it. Plus now he looks so babyish without one. He's losing his hair up top, so the beard and his head hair are the same length and I think it looks really nice like that.
H has a beard going right now and it's fine at the shorter length, but I hate when he grows it out, lol. I prefer clean shaven but it's his face! At least he doesn't grow out a huge bushy beard like his dad does. This little boy is going to have good facial hair genes I guess between them and my dad, haha.

DH is all over the place with facial hair; he grows a beard every winter and then usually shaves it to a moustache in the spring. The only way I like it is clean shaven or slightly scruffy. Right now he has a full beard and I haaaaate it. He also frequently has a moustache, which is worst of all. I hate the way facial hair looks on him, and I hate how it feels. Ick.
H currently has a beard that has taken him about two months to grow in. He grows facial hair once a year in the fall, because he's annoying. I cannot wait for him to shave it off after he goes hunting in a few weeks, because it feels gross.
Right now yes, he's got a very short full beard (shaves it to about an 1/8 inch) . He alternates between shaved and bearded every few months. I like the look of both. I find shaved makes him look younger but the beard makes him look more masculine and defines his jaw nicely. I prefer to kiss a smooth face though.
DH has a full beard and has had it since DD was about a year old or so (so, going on 5 years now). I love it. Every time he thinks he wants to shave it off, I feel a little disappointed, but he has kept it.
