I have one from old navy that has lasted me for years and still looks new.
I'm on my second one from Old Navy...only because I lost the first one. My sister has one from The Gap and it is a much thinner material than my Old Navy one, just an FYI depending on what you're looking for.
I just bought one at American Eagle. I don't know that it's ever not been a thing around here. I get plenty of complements on it. I do not wear it with jeans however and according to some morning show I was watching, that is the new thing, denim with denim.
Gap has nice ones but my old navy Jean jacket had held up well. When worn properly, it can be cute. But I also own like 6 different shades of chambray shirts and those are more versatile.

What?! No. We used to call that a Canadian tuxedo (sorry Canada girls!) That is inexcusable.

I couldn't agree more. Yuck. It looked terribly mismatched. But then, don't half the 'runway trends' look awful anyway?
I love jean jackets. I went to a private school and their uniforms were hideous. All the girls wore a jean jacket in 8th grade to attempt to make the outfit bearable. Good times
I don't know how you would incorporate one into an outfit now though.

I wear mine with khakis instead of a cardigan. I wear it with a skirt if I want to dress it down.

What about potentially with a dress to dress it down a bit? (Think maxi or summer dresses)
Late UO-denim on denim is cute IF (big disclaimer) done right. Different denim tones, say dark skinnies and a lighter chambray shirt with a cute belt or accessories can totally work. All the same color and then you're venturing into JT:Britney Spears matching denim Grammy outfits.
Also, scattered, a fitted gap denim jacket is timeless. They look really good with all black outfits or the right maxi dress!

btw, I'm with scattered, denim jackets were never completely "out" they were less popular, but I've had a super cute one for years that I wear to work.

I'm a Canadian and that's what I call it too! I'm pretty sure our jackass Prime Minister also sported an all-denim outfit one time. Sigh.

I should probably save this for next Thursday, but I hate ballet flats on me. On anyone else, they look awesome. When I put them on, they look hideous.
