I got a stitch fix yesterday and tried on the Liverpool brand Madonna Legging for $78. First of all, I'm petite, and they never send me petite length pants. So these pants, although they fit great in the waist and feel good, are too long. They look great if I fold under the hem about 3 inches so they just skim the top of my foot & hit at my ankle.
Secondly, they're mid-rise, and hit me right at my belly button. Maybe a little higher rise than I typically wear. But they definitely keep things covered when bending over.
So here are my questions: 1) Based on the length & price would you send back and look for a different set of ponte pants in petite? Or would you keep and have hemmed (or just fold the hem under)?
2) Are ponte pants typically worn mid-rise or do lower-rise ones exist?
Return. I just got back from the mall and Banana Republic has 40% off full price items right now. I got ponte pants (petite, perfect length) for $54. And Ann Taylor has 50% off full price items (petites, too) - there were lots there, as well.

Liverpool is available at about 8 different stores including Amazon. You should be able to find petites that way. I hate that Stitch Fix won't send out proper fits for their prices. You should get the right length for their pricing and not have to alter everything says the woman who comes from a long line of petite women. Stalk them if you truly love them and use bunnies suggestions for now.

I love my simply Vera for Kohl's ponte pants. The stitch fix ones seem way expensive! Costco usually gets some Calvin Klein ponte pants that I always buy a pair of because I adore them. They usually come in around sept so I'm not sure they would still have them but they're usually around $19.
Thanks for the advice. I'm sending them back and found 2 pairs of ankle pants/leggings on Banana Republic that I ordered for $87 after discounts, taxes and shipping. Will be here next Monday!
