dojo, I'm so sorry that you're still in limbo. I think it's utter bs that they are making you wait that long for an ultrasound. I can tell you, it has nothing to do with what's covered/available with our healthcare. Between the loss and this pregnancy, I've had several ultrasounds, often only a week apart.
You're just seeing a GP, right? I'm assuming because you're so early along. Even when I was bleeding last time, my OB (who I had with Madison) wouldn't see me until 13 weeks (or later) which is ridiculous. When you're having early complications or concerns, that's exactly when we need a specialist.
Promise me that if you have any spotting or bad abdominal pain, you'll go to the ER to get checked out? Things seem uneventful right now which is awesome but I want to make sure it stays that way.

Thanks - that's good advice. I'm not sure what the four week wait was about. I figured it had something to with coverage but I'll be around 9 weeks when the next us happens. Do you know when the first screening is supposed to take place? Seems like it would be early for the first screening but not by much.

The only real screening you need is the anatomy scan. So, I don't think they are booking this as anything other than a 'dating ultrasound'. If you opt for the NT scan, I believe that is from 11 weeks to 13w6d - so this definitely isn't that. Dating can be done really any time after 6-7 weeks.
Just logged in and went looking for an update from you first, dojo. Sorry you're still in limbo but your symptoms sound encouraging. My nauseau has really picked up in the last few days/week so maybe we're just tracking together! Good luck with your repeat bloodwork (today? tomorrow?).
dojo Have you gotten the results back from your beta on Friday? Thinking about you!!
Not yet - I have to go get more blood work done tomorrow and then they'll compare. I think it won't be until at least Friday or maybe Monday before my doc's office even gets the results then I'll have to book an apt to come in. Thank you for thinking of me
That must be so frustrating waiting to know what's going on It does sound really promising with your nausea and boob pain though. I hope you can get a definite answer soon!
I am so sorry you are going through this. The nausea and the symptoms sound very promising that everything is ok. I hate that you are having to wait so long and wish they would just get you in for an ultrasound. <3
