that sounds like, legit, where I'd go if I had to go to hell.
Fucking word. I spent 4 days in an area with no cell reception, no easily accessible Internet, one gas station, and one grocery store. You have to drive 3 or 4 hours before you can shop at a Target. That was enough for me and I had running water.

That 2 minute preview wasn't too encouraging, lol. I think for every victory there will be 3 things that go horribly wrong or be unexpected challenges. And when you aren't comfortable, aren't eating well, don't have your regular comforts, etc those unexpected challenges are really going to strain on anybody's relationship, not just poor ones lol. We live like this on H's remote property, but that's for only a few days at a time, 5 max, and we'be already built the cabins (with beds that have mattresses!) and the most impressive outhouse I've ever seen.
Can't they just hire the super nanny lady who comes over and tells them how crappy their parenting is and then do a wife swap so another family can also tell them how they're doing it wrong in all areas of life? Does this really require building a house in the wilderness?
Okay...I might be inclined to DVR it and check it out.
I mean, there's no way this could go wrong, right!?
!!! I am so embarrassed for these people. There's a german word like frentschamen or something, that feeling you have when your friend does something they don't realize is embarrassing to them, but you realize it.
(heart) Fremdschamen. I love that this is catching on. I experience this feeling all too frequently.
She has both. Arthritis is no picnic obviously, but the clotting disorder could really put her life at risk is something goes wrong.Â
pssst. I know her. there is no clotting disorder. She's a hypochondriac.Â
LOL!!! No wonder her H said for her health - both mentally and physically. How long until she is bitten by something and it spirals into gangrene?! In her mind, at least

Except for that cake show in Baltimore, I've never seen a reality show. IHO you, @cse1960, I intend to break my policy. If I come back here all invested in Chrisley and the Survivor people, I'll be pretty mad. But I'm going to dvr this show. Shoot me if I start talking about rhwow(hereever)

there is something about living off the land that seems very peaceful to me. but I would like to do it with running water and my cell phone. and not while being taped.
