Did anyone have an elective US to find out the sex? There's one of those 3D/4D studios by me and they said they can tell at 15 weeks. Our anatomy scan isn't until 19 weeks, and I'd really like to find out sooner.
Thoughts? What was your experience? How many weeks were you?
We did. I think we found out at 18 weeks instead of waiting till 21 weeks with our doctor. It was a birthday present for me. Also we wanted the digital picture files to send to family back home so they could share in te experience (we were in the UK at the time, with all our family in the US). We were very pleased with our experience.

I did at 15w3d. They were right and sure of what they saw. It wasn't the best time for 3d pictures since she still looked rather alien like, but it was cool to see. It was the first time it really felt like there was a baby in there. I'm glad I did it.
I did with this pregnancy at 16w. We got a guess at the NT scan and my anatomy scan was pretty late this time. We found out and it was accurate. (My OB does them in-office for cheap.)
I did one after the a/s didn't tell us the sex. I think I was about 23 weeks. It was worth it to us, as no other u/s were scheduled and we're NEED TO KNOW people. In the end, I did have another u/s because my belly was measuring small, and they confirmed girl.

I had a growth ultrasound at 16 weeks where the tech was 90% sure it was a girl. That wasn't good enough, and that 10% was going to drive me crazy, so I didn't want to wait for the a/s at 20 weeks. I did an elective scan a week later, at 17 weeks. It was really cool, and I felt like I got to see more, so I'm glad I did it. Oh, and they confirmed it was a girl. And then the a/s confirmed it again, and yet the first thing I did when she was born was to look down there to make sure, haha.
