I think I went to bed around 10 and I just woke up. I love sleeping.
I'm hoping to go out to breakfast when H wakes up. After that, we're going to get the garden beds finished up for next spring. We're also picking up the quarter cow we bought in March. I'm looking forward to meeting the family who owns the ranch.
DH thinks the Internet issue we're having may be a bad splice with the phone line, so he's going to mess around with that a bit today. We'll see if he has any luck. Regardless, I'm hopeful that he'll sort it out by fixing it or switching providers because not having internet is really irritating.
My cat has a vet appointment at 1:00 and I'm excited for the vet to see how well she's doing! At the beginning of the summer they thought she was dying of intestinal cancer but it seems to be IBD controlled with diet/steroids/pro-biotics instead. I'm so lucky!
Tonight I'm going to a concert with my sister and niece for a band my niece loves (Breaking Benjamin.) In the hopes of being a cool Aunt I made a Pandora station for them, lol. The jury is still out but this is an acoustic show and I love live music so I'm making the best of it.

Cleaning the house this morning. Our weekly housekeeper had surgery two weeks ago and is out of commission for a month. I miss her.
When dd gets up from her nap we're going to a fall festival. Then she'll go home with my mom so I can go horseback riding.
My friend made raspberry white chocolate cupcakes and I'm going to pick some up from her at some poin . Soooo excited for these. She is an amazing baker.
Making honey sesame chicken for dinner. Maybe carving pumpkins tonight. I also am in the mood to bake something pumpkiny, but I don't know what and I will likely run out of motivation.
This morning David and I are fall decorating (this kid is alllll over fall decorating, it's cracking me up. @lazerus24 would be very proud). Later we're going to the gym, then this afternoon David has his LAST soccer game, which will be awkward because there's soccer drama on our team. (not involving me) So glad it's the last game, but David has ROCKED soccer this season! He's done a total 180. He's ready for baseball, though. Then we're going to Office Depot to get David a big calendar and a white board for his room. His teacher recommended it since he loves numbers and writing and stuff.
We're supposed to go to an adult costume party tonight but I don't want to. I have too much shit to do. Tonight we're going to carve pumpkins, do some fall crafts I've been wanting to do with David, watch The Great Pumpkin again and start on making the pinata for David's party that's two weeks from today. YIKES!
Thankfully A slept well after all but skipping nap yesterday. She was in an uncomfortable pack n play and my moms house is freezing, but she slept great. She woke up and said (in Alex language) "cold? Sock?" Lol. Poor kid.
My sisters baby shower is at 1230 and I risked putting A down for a short nap before bc I figured that had to be better than no nap.
I went to pick up bagels this morning and I must have been away from Jersey for too long bc the guy was totally rude and I was surprised. Lol
We went to a Halloween party last night. First time ever getting a babysitter that wasn't one of our moms. Now I'm hiding in bed because I'm so so hungover. I think I might die.
DHs parents want us to come over to celebrate his grandmothers 90th birthday. Of course, they scheduled this for noon, like they always do. Everything with them happens at noon. I have had two babies in the last five years who tend to be asleep around noon, but when I don't go I am the horrible DIL who avoids family get togethers.
So DH and dd1 are going over there, the baby is napping, and I haven't seen all of the Thursday night shows.... Plus I have on cozy socks, my house is freezing, and I have a cinnamon hazelnut latte in my hand. This is what dreams are made of! Lol
DH is off running errands this morning and picking up his 1/2 or 1/4 of a cow I wasn't paying attention to how much beef he said he was picking up. I'm waiting for the vet to call me back about the pup's toe - she finished her antibiotics, but it still isn't healed and looks icky. I think she needs a cone or ring of shame because she keeps licking it. My cousin and kids are visiting so we are going for crabs in Baltimore, doing something kid friendly haven't picked the activity yet. After kid fun we are doing the LLS Light the Night walk in Baltimore before going home and passing out from too much activity.
The lantern festival is at Patterson Park this afternoon! Lantern making starts at 3:30
I just got back from the vet with the cats. I accidentally bought scented cat litter last time, but figured they'd be fine with it. Nope, allergic reactions! So they got cortisone shots. Now I need to go to the store to get new litter. I think I'll use this as an excuse to visit Target.
The tech was so surprised I came in with the cats alone. "You're by yourself?!" (I only have 2 cats, btw.) I told her it was a breeze compared to bringing my kid to the doctor.
I got out all my old beanie baby stuffed animals for the twins. They love them. They are currently putting them in a row and scolding them! I was really hoping DD would trade in her gross stuffed pig for a bear. Unfortunately she still loves the pig, and still refuses to let me give him a bath.
Some people are preparing to have what appears to be a wedding reception in the community room/courtyard of our apartment building.
Skimming over the whole discussion of why someone would do this, I need to get away from here.
I haaaaate it when people have parties in the courtyard. They get so loud, seemingly forgetting that they are surrounded by apartments of people who are trying to not be involved and instead thinking that they are in a public park. And it echoes. I can hear every word even with the windows shut and a fan and the TV on.
My mom won't be able to make it to my birthday party tonight. She woke up with a migraine and just called me crying and saying she felt like the worst mother in the world.
I got rid of a nice big bag of clutter and am doing general cleaning/ laundry. DDs Miracle League baseball just ended so we tried a special needs dance class this morning. She seemed to really enjoy it! I'm so happy she had a nice time and I plan to sign her up. I still need some things from Target and the grocery store
Moving my essentials into my new place. I'm vaccinating between being excited, wanting to cry, and wanting to throw up. This is the first time I've ever moved completely by myself. My friends were all busy. I've always at least had my dad helping me. I'm taking a car load, then picking up the UHaul and I got two movers off Craigslist that I'm hoping won't come back and murder me later to help with the big things. Stella is at daycare for the day and I'm hoping she adjusts to the new place ok.
And my car's low tire pressure light came on yesterday. Awesome. Guess I'm stopping at a gas station at some pint today. None of them look flat so I don't know what the deal is.
Hold me.
Do you have a pressure gauge? They are extremely cheap and easy to use. I would check the pressure on each tire to figure out which one is low then go fill it a bit. It should take 2 minutes or less to check the pressure. Many gas station air pumps have pressure gauges right on them.

We had DVD's last soccer game earlier then we went out to lunch. I'm cleaning the inside of the house while dh rakes outside. We are stopping by our neighbors kids birthday party later. It's a 1 year olds party at a VFW from 6-midnight. Seems kind of late to me.
But right now I'm laying on the couch while the baby naps with a killer headache and sinus pressure.

We picked up some bunk beds that were being stored at our neighbor's cabin until we had a need for them - my poor H drove up to the cabin, picked up my BIL on his way to use his pickup truck, drove the truck home to unload everything (and picked up a new mattress we bought on the way home) and then has to drive the pickup truck back up to BIL (who lives an hour away) and drive our van home.
Shitty way to spend Saturday but the new room will be so cute even if the beds themselves are pretty ugly. (metal frame bunk beds - twin on top, full on bottom)
I found super duper clearance bedding at Target - the girls picked purple ruffle-y comforter sets with polka dot sheets.
