I figured that since I have several trail races planned in the next few months I should probably run on a trail, right? I needed 11 miles today, so KITH and I put together a plan. I ran my first six solo and she met me for my last five on the local trail.
It ended up four on the trail and one on the way to Starbucks for a recovery mocha. Ya know, because the salted caramel mocha has the perfect carb to protein balance for recovery. The a 1.5 mile recovery walk back to our cars.
So I got all my miles in, an official trail run, friend time, and Starbucks!.

Awesome!! I'm trying to get into trail running but I also like getting my run in before the sun comes up. So far I've been too chicken to run a trail in the dark.
