Well, I put out after being a super crab all weekend. I think my H is happy.
We had a mini photo session this morning in which DS just ran away every time we attempted to get him to sit for a picture. I will cry if none turn out.

We had a really productive day. M went to my grandma's house so DH and I did a bunch of yard work, DH cleaned the garage, and I cleaned most of the house. Then my mom, my brother's gf and I got pedicures.
M didn't nap at all for my grandma (mostly because she won't just let him babble to himself until he falls asleep) so he went to bed early.
Apparently we're a family of crotchety old people, b/c apple picking wore us all out! DS walked the whole time, and DH and I schlepped the apple bags plus carried DS sometimes. In spite of a 2 hour nap DS was super cranky all evening and passed out at 7:30, a full hour earlier than usual. DH and I turned off the TV at 9:30, also an hour earlier that usual. He's already snoring of course. We're so old LOL.

My cat started peeing around the house again in the last couple of months. Ughhhh. I have no idea why and we reached the limit tonight. So as of now we have a basement cat. Ugh it makes me so sad, but we can't have him peeing on all of our new stuff! He was just at the vet and isn't sick either

Does anyone else have a husband who decides to turn on a show and is then snoring 5 minutes later? Because it drives me absolutely insane, how can you go from awake to completely asleep in 5 minutes??!
Also bedtime has been an unmitigated disaster. He napped well but has only wanted me today. He freaked when H pushed the stroller and then bam, back to giggles when I took over. Now he is refusing to sleep beyond a few minutes at a time. I'm starting to wonder if some of this fussiness/clinginess is teeth to go along with the 4mw.

cincodemayo We had a mini photo session today, too. DD would not cooperate. We were near a pond and she kept wanting to throw leaves in for "Nemo and turtles." I'm praying we managed to get one photo of the four of us.
I was reading reviews on a Halloween costume (yes, I know it's late!), and one of them said her daughter needed to wear a t-shirt underneath because otherwise it was too "riska." It took me forever to figure out that she meant risque. I LOLed so hard.
My bro and SIL watched C all day for us while we were at work today. I dropped her off at 9, picked her up at 6. She did not nap one second of the day. The longest she's been awake in her whole life. She was apparently very good though. When we got home, she walked immediately to her crib and said, "yes yes yes!" LOL. Asleep ever since.
I picked up a friend from the airport today and she was so hilariously drugged (anxiety meds for flying) and tired after flying from 11pm-10am and being up all day yesterday. She kept asking the same questions over and over and eventually fell asleep in the car collapsed forward hanging from the seat belt. I actually checked to make sure she was alive then I laughed a lot in my head.
I wonder if/when B is going to stop this two naps on weekend business. He napped from 10-12:30 and 3-4:30 today. In between I took him to a Halloween party at the museum but he got so cranky we had to leave before the parade. He can usually hang if we are out doing stuff but not lately. Maybe he's making up for missed naps while at Disney.
The baby shower I had at my house today ended up being super cute and really fun. Alcohol is not a given at showers here but I insisted on having italian soda + white wine and, of course, it was a hit
Now I'm relaxing after picking most everything up bc my feet are killing me.

This weekend is awful. My H and I are sick, the baby is sick and possibility teething. My 5 year old is fine for now. Baby won't sleep unless I am holding her. Serenity now! I am exhausted.
Did anyone's kid have some sort of going to bed regression, either around weaning our 14-15 months? The past week or so VCB has started sitting up, wiggling around, etc., after we put him to bed. He's quiet the while time, but it's a little unnerving. Thoughts?
I've been cooking/baking a lot more. I wish my H would just say that the food is good versus "not bad" or "not really my style". At least I can text pictures of my concoctions to my mom and she gets excited.
I felt like a Los Feliz Day Care parent when I was getting groceries for the girls- I was telling them how we were going to be making Lemon Ricotta Hot Cakes, Mac & Cheese with Roasted Vegetables, and homemade peanut butter.
DH was upset at the director of the daycare we toured today bc she called DD "a chunkster". Luckily, not enough to eliminate it from the short list. I'm like, everyone likes chunky babies! Right?
It's so frigging hot in our house and it's supposed to be 84 tomorrow. Wtf, October. I am thisclose to throwing a pregnancy tantrum and turning the AC back on.
My H is listening to an audiobook on headphones and it's driving me insane because every time I say something he yells "HUH??!?" like he's 90.

DD cried/screamed (causing her to cough and gag) for 30 minutes in the car tonight. Then we hit traffic due to 2 accidents and that sent me into tears. We were at a family party and I thought I left in plenty of time so she would nap in the car but she was overly tired. It was so hard to not be able to comfort her. I'm exhausted and getting sick.

I noticed how skimpy the K State cheerleaders were dressed today and was like "those Kansians sure are hardy to be dressed like that in October!" Then I saw that it was 91 degrees at the OK State game. WTF?
I stayed up after putting DD to bed to watch a movie--look at me being a grown up! I've gotten in the habit of going to bed around 8:30-9 to maximize my sleep, but last night I was like "fuck it! I'm drinking a cider and watching Catching Fire on Netflix!"
And instead of sleeping 8-10 hrs, DD woke up after 5.
Oh well, it was still worth it. And I'm also laughing that my "wild night" equals literally almost any "boring" weekend night pre-baby.
