0.02-0.14. I don't like the taste of alcohol. I've tried pretty much every kind of beer, wine, and mixed drink. I like Twisted Tea and frozen margaritas. Oh well.
I think 90% of the people I know are somewhere in the 6-9th quintiles. I know relatively few people IRL who don't drink at all, and I can't think of anyone I know who seems to be hitting 74 drinks a week on a regular basis. My dad is a recovering alcoholic, and I am pretty sure even he was usually somewhere south of 74 when he was drinking. That is crazy!
I am at 2-6 most of the time. More like 6-10 on a particularly fun week. This past week was 7-8, for example.

I was absolutely in the 15-74 category a year ago.
I had to quit drinking when I got sick in May and haven't really picked it back up. I had two beers last night, but I get drunk on two beers again now. I was at a point where I needed to drink 4-5 beers to even feel drunk which is already into the binge drinking category.

In the 6-15 category for sure. Probably around 10-12 a week. We hit the local pub once a week (I usually have around 4-5 pints then) and then probably have 1 beer or a glass of wine with dinner most other nights of the week.

Once again, everyone I know is well above average. I doubt I know anyone who isn't underage, breast feeding, have a medical condition, or pregnant who doesn't at least drink a bottle of wine or the equivalent each week (5 drinks). Most of us at least have 7-14 drinks, even the "health nuts", since most of us have a drink or two before or after dinner .
Now- 6-15 on average but varies. This week, I had 3 beers and a glass of champagne all week.
15-74 before I had my daughter. I'd definitely have nights of drinking a LOT.
I think, though, for those of us who drink hard alcohol, we don't always realize how much is considered a drink. One Cosmo can be the equivalent of 3-4 glasses of wine or beer. In my glory days, I could drink 4 or 5. That's like 12-20 "drinks" in one night. (And yes the hangovers were no Bueno). So while I never hit that 75+/week mark myself, I can see how it can be reached with liquor.
It varies from .63-2 and 2-6 now. During football season, I drink 3-4 beers or hard ciders on Sundays and not much else. I drink maybe 4 bottles of wine per year.
I missed alcohol a LOT when I was pregnant, yet I haven't returned to my pre-baby drinking habits. I was at the very high end of 2-6 or low end of 6-15 before DD with ~5 episodes of "binge drinking" per year mixed in. Now, my tolerance is horrible. We went to two breweries last weekend, consumed ~46oz of beer over 3 hours (so basically 3 pints) and I was wasted.
I've never had alcohol. Never will. Not a moral or religious choice, just preference. And growing up with a raging alcoholic father. I have never understood the appeal (and don't like liquid with flavor in general including soda).
Oh that's interesting about not liking liquid with flavor.
I only drink water (and alcohol) because juice and soda are too damn expensive and unhealthy but I most definitely love the taste!
When was the last time you drank something besides water?
2-6 is my happy place, although there have been times in my life where it's been higher. I enjoy drinking quite a bit but I feel healthier mentally and physically if it's more occasional. It's so easy to let the number creep up. Binge drinking is and always has been a rare occurrence for me but beer and wine have been sort of a hobby and fun thing to explore with friends (and craft beer is definitely a big thing here), and then I have found that it easily turns habitual to have a couple drinks a day.
Now it's so, so low. In my 20s, it was easily in the 15+ range. I could drink 8+ drinks in a day of tailgating, or longer night out of drinking essily, and there were many weeknights I'd drink a bottle of wine on my own.
Between getting old, pregnancy, nursing, general concern for health, I maybe have a beer or glass of wine every couple of weeks.
6-15. It's rare for me not to have a drink on any given evening but it's also rare for me to have more than two, even on weekends. I really enjoy wine and beer and love that gentle buzz you get with 1-2 drinks but more than that and I just get tired.
My alcohol intake is all over the place. I will go 2-3 weeks without a drink, but if we have something going on where other people are drinking a lot (wedding, sporting event), I will have 3-5 in one night.
I can't imagine that the two 74+ votes are likely to speak up, but I am curious as to whether those who acknowledge drinking that much view it as problematic or not.
I'd guess I'm in the 15 - 74 category most weeks. We have a bottle of wine a couple nights a week, go out another night or two, and have brunch once or twice a weekend.

I'm 2-6 as well. Along with 1/3 of MM apparently. I can't believe 30% of the US doesn't drink at all. I wonder if you looked only at people under 50 if that would change.
