I've posted about this before, I think, but I can't find the post, so I'm asking again.
The upstairs tub in the money pit is a really nice enameled porcelain over steel/iron model. It's great, except that it is omg slippery. We've tried those adhesive strips and they get disgusting looking fast. Plus, they're a pita to remove (think 30 minutes, a putty knife, and half a bottle of goo gone).
Anyone have a better option for making a tub less hazardous?
Whatabout one of those rubber mats like in hotels? Can be removed easily for drying/cleaning/replacing? I think I've seen some prettier versions at ace hardware near me.
This is what my mom always had in the tub when we were growing up.
