We had Chili's for dinner Friday, it was surprisingly good. Then we came home because I have a sore throat/body ache thing going on.
Saturday we did nothing during the day and went to a friends house for their Halloween party. I couldn't find my costume anywhere so I felt like a weener. Leaving the party I fell in the street. I'm bruised and scraped and injured from my forehead to my toe. Ridiculously sore from it.
Sunday we went to see The Maze Runner and neither of us were very thrilled with it.
Despite lots of crappy stuff it was still a good weekend.

alabasterangel , sorry to hear about the fall. I hope you are feeling better today.
milsaroo , that's terrible about the money getting stolen, I hope they restored the funds quickly and can figure out who took it!
@ello , that's super cool about sitting by Johnny Weir! He seems like a trip to be around.
My weekend was pretty good. Helped a friend's mom with her move Friday evening then went out drinking with some friends afterwards. Watched some football, was mostly disappointed with the results there but the Texans redeemed the weekend yesterday with their win. Did some grocery shopping, cooking, and saw friends on Saturday night for a grill out. I made some bacon-wrapped jalapenos stuffed with cream cheese and pineapple chunks and they were so good. I'm pretty sure I'm never leaving pineapple out of my stuffed jalapenos moving forward since it really was a good combination for those.

It was awesome! Friday night hubby and I ran some errands and then relaxed.
Saturday I slept in, hit the gym, prepped for week 2 of my class, and then ran to Ross with my sister. We got a new bed for Dozer. Super plush.
Saturday night was so much wine and Thai food. Amazing!
Sunday I graded papers, walked Lexi and watched a movie on lifetime on which a woman thought her billionaire husband murdered his first wife. Spoiler Alert - he was innocent the whole time and they lived happily ever after. It was his business partner who did it!

That sounds amazing! I don't know if everyone else would go for it, so I just might make me a few special ones next time.

Oh. And my entire weekend was pretty much spent in the bathroom...painting. You can't really tell the difference in pictures, but it looks much better. The people before us did a crappy job on everything. The paint. The trim. The spackling.
We had a little water issue at the studio, so that is where we spent some of our Friday night. Saw Amy Schumer Saturday and she was so funny! My step daughter landed a great job, so we went out beforehand for beers and dinner to celebrate. Sunday was a lazy football day. Go Bills!
Saturday I was about to hop in the shower a few hours before we had friends coming. We still needed to shower and then food shop for dinner that night. As I turned on the shower I noticed we had NO cold water and the water pressure was so light. Turns our our mixing valve went. Jay took some pics and sent to BIL, a plumber. Got the name of the part and off Jay went. Well, this store didn't have that, that store didn't have this. It took HOURS before it was fixed.
I washed my hair in the kitchen sink to save time. Then, as time passed I decided to just straighten it to save even more time once I could shower. FINALLY, the shower was fixed as friends were arriving.
So the wonderful birthday dinner got switched to take-out. We still had fun, but man I was looking forward to doing something nice for her. Birthday re-do!
Friday night we went out to dinner at a really great restaurant. G's porkbelly katsu was amazing. Chatted up the bartender and she gave us a bunch of free drinks as she was experimenting with new stuff. I think my favorite was gin, lime juice, jalapeno, and burnt orange rind. After dinner we went home for wine and movies.
Saturday we made a quick run to the hardware store, then worked on G's Halloween costume. I went with a big group of friends to a corn maze, hayride, and pumpkin patch. Then we got dressed up, met friends, and went to the annual Halloween party. Never disappoints! I loved how our costumes turned out, too.
Yesterday we slept in, then G made chili and we watched football and movies and did some housework.

It was great! I worked for a bit on Saturday, but then headed home me and my brother and SIL came down. We all went to dinner for B's birthday. Neat sushi place with a conveyor belt! Owner was awesome, and gave us a plate of salmon belly, smoked salmon skin, and salmon eggs on the house. Went home, opened gifts, and played our new board game till pretty late.
Yesterday we met up with his family because his sister's birthday is one day before. Went to a big entertainment place, where we went bowling, played miniature golf, did a laser maze and laser tag, played in an arcade. Aaand there was a climbing wall that I got Bryan to try with me. It reminded me how much I miss it, and gave me confidence that my wrists are strong enough to go back at it. Went to dinner at a Mexican place before heading home. So it was busy but great.

Glad you had a good weekend despite the cruddy stuff, ala.
My weekend was great. Friday night, Ian and I went out for a nice birthday dinner. Saturday, I cleaned, cooked, and prepped for the party during the day. The party was a lot of fun. Here was my costume.
Sunday, we visited some friends and had a late lunch/early dinner with them.
alabasterangel - ouch! Hope you feel better soon! milsaroo - sorry about the cash! Hope you get it fixed soon!
Friday we didn't do much. MH went to a going away party for someone he used to manage and I started binge etching season 1 of American Horror story.
Saturday I cleaned the house while MH shingled the shed, then he went to a birthday. We later met up for my friends engagement dinner.
Sunday, we planned on doing more yard work, but it was so windy, you had to brace yourself agains the wind, so I went grocery shopping and good prepped for the week all day and finished season 1 of AHS. Then when I went toget gas and fill up my tire that has a nail in it, it had started snowing. It was coming down so fast! This morning it was just wet, so nothing stuck around. It's supposed to e in the 60s and 70s this week, so I hope the forecast is correct.
My weekend was good! Friday I went out with BFF and it was great to catch up in person. Saturday my Mom came to visit. I took her out to lunch at my favorite pub, we walked down by the water and around the neighborhood, then we went out to dinner at an Italian place I hadn't tried yet but was very good. Sunday we went out to breakfast, picked up bagels for her to take home to my sister/aunt/dad, and took another walk in the gorgeous weather before she headed back home. I never spend time alone with my Mom, so it was very nice.
