What was your experience in how long it took the hcg to get out of your system from the trigger to get an accurate hpt? Today is 13 days after my trigger, 12 days after my IUI, and I believe I O'd the day after IUI, so 11dpo. I did a wondfo this morning and a Target cheapie EPT and got very very faint positives, but not sure if its the hcg being detected from the trigger shot, evap lines (which I've never gotten before) or an actual positive. This is so frustrating. Obviously if I didn't have the trigger, I would say I'm probably knocked up, but I can't get excited because I don't know if it's a false positive or not.

I always forget to test it out. But I've tested at 11, 12, 13dpo and had negatives already. I've googled this before and had all sorts of answers come up, but short story is retest at 14 to be sure or call your doc and ask for a beta. Good luck, I hope this is it for you!
It's usually 1 day per 1,000 IU. A trigger is 10,000 IU, so it should be out in 10 days max.
I like how you post in absolutes. Everything is always exactly how you say it is. ^ That's what you want us to think.
No, a trigger is not always 10000 units. Mine for my IVF cycle was 5000 units. My ovidrel triggers for my IUI cycles were 250 mcg, a completely different unit of measure and formulation of HCG. Some people use a Lupron trigger.

There are some that are 5,000. I'm sure she is capable of doing math.
Ovidrel is 250 mcg which is the equivalent of 5,000 IU of urine derived HCG.
Lupron doesn't matter as far as a test is concerned because it isn't HCG and won't throw a false positive and she wouldn't be asking because it isn't relevant. It is also very rarely used.
Care to be a condescending ass again? At least get your shit straight if you are going to.

That's rich, because I feel that you're the one who usually comes off condescending. And I'm not wrong.
So looks like it takes that long for the trigger to get out of my system. Had a negative wondfo and frer this morning and started spotting today, so we're out for this cycle.
Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.
