Aurg! I just realized that I never received my midterm election ballot. At this point I can still vote, but I'd have to take my ballot to the Embassy and find a US stamp for them to mail it back to the US for me. This is just kind of getting to be a pain in the ass.
I looked up some of the stuff online and nothing seems that major?
FWIW, I would (more than likely) vote pretty much as our state expects me to. And TBRH, I haven't followed any of the initiatives and don't really know what's going on in terms of that or candidates.
Is it a huge deal if I don't vote in the midterms?
There's only one gun initiative that needs to be voted down (I591 - basically making it illegal to require any extra background checks, etc beyond what is federally required, which is asinine). But its such a huge hassle for you, I don't feel too guilty.

The gun ones were the one the ones I cared about the most, but I assume in light of the Marysville shooting it will be more in the forefront of everyone's minds?
