My sleep is still all screwed up and I am really getting annoyed by it.
In other news I have an appt this afternoon at the salon and I am unsure if I want to change up the color some or wait till after the new year. Decisions decisions.

Ugh, my Tuesday is gross.
I did a yearly eval with an employee. She got angry, refused to sign it and demanded a meeting with my boss and HR. Threatened that she may bring "representation".
There are also a lot of changes going on at work. People are super overwhelmed and I feel fairly powerless to help them. One of them is my friend and she is talking about quitting

Why so many changes?
We recently switched to electronic medical records; we had been using paper charts. So there is a big learning curve there. Also, we recently were given approval for a new funding status. It will bring us in more money, but the paperwork requirements are a lot bigger. It was my biggest fear that these two projects would happen around the same time and they are.

Ugh. Sorry to hear - change is hard for some people and it sucks that you get the push-back.
We've been dealing with big changes this year, too, so I hear you.
I'm here. Sort of. Work is busy, so I haven't been around much lately.
I did a sewing project over the weekend. Bear's daughter's room doesn't have a door (the house is very pieced together so the layout doesn't have space for a traditional door and a pocket door isn't in the budget right now). Bear asked if I can sew a curtain for her. I told Bear to figure out what he wanted it to look like and pick out the fabric and I'd make it. His daughter is into monster high right now, so he picked out black, then a pink/white/black zebra print for the living room side and a pink/skulls/monster high print for the part that would be in her room. And then his daughter added that she wanted the part in her room to be strips so she can still see the black.
Mission accomplished (top left is the curtain from the living room, top right is the curtain from inside her room):

I'll chime in with another work complaint. We have a big problem with turnover on our team. I'm one of four paralegals and we were short staffed for almost a year (for a while there were only two of us, then we were up to three). We hired our fourth in June and things have been awesome. She's super smart and we all get along and work well together. Our newest paralegal just gave her notice yesterday and she's going back to her old company. Oh - and our boss called in sick today! LOL. He did what I felt like doing. Shoot me now.

PF's sitter had a story for me yesterday.
Apparently she was waiting outside for PF's bus to come and some lady walked by. The following happened:
Old Bat: Do you live here?
Awesome babysitter: I don't. I'm the babysitter. Can I help you with anything?
OB: Oh. I was hoping you lived here. I want to say that I live on the block and I'm really tired of seeing the dead flowers when I walk by. I want them taken down.
AB: ~dumbfounded~
Admittedly, my plants on my porch were well passed their prime, but FFS, it's none of your damned business if I haven't taken them down yet. I was already planning on taking them down. I almost left them up out of spite. I told our sitter that if that lady says anything again to tell her when I'd be home and tell her to come by then. I have a few choice things to say. Or to tell her to take them down herself since I have a hard enough time lifting heavy things right now.
