I know this is a crazy bumpie question, but as your pregnancy progressed did your early movement travel to different spots? I am 18 weeks and had been feeling flutters (or like fish-flops) very low and pretty consistently, a few times a day for the last week or so. Then I felt nothing the last 3ish days and freaked out, but right now I swear I'm feeling it again, but higher.
Anyway it's too early to be even noticing this crap but it's on my radar now so I'm obsessing. It stands to reason that as the uterus grows stuff moves up, right? What was your experience with those early feelings?

Lately I've felt a difference. A week or two ago I felt light kicks not too far above my pelvic bone. The last couple days I've felt things closer to my belly button (although still kinda low). I've also felt something off on my right side a few times, but I'm not sure how that's baby. I don't know what else it would be though! I think as he gets bigger I will start to feel it more and in different places.

That makes me feel better! I'm working on a theory right now that if everything is genuinely traveling north, that's where my pre-existing belly fat is likely acting as a shock absorber. Way down where it was before is basically just skin and pelvis.
The baby moves at lot at that stage, sometimes into spots where you can't feel as much. Some days I get cervix head-butts all day, others (like today) I get kicked up by my rib cage all day. I'm almost 28 weeks now, and it's still inconsistent.

Maybe this is what I'm feeling! I feel like I'm crazy but sometimes it almost feels like he's trying to break out, haha. I kept telling myself that it can't be baby, that's so low.. maybe it is!
I can't really speak for anything before 22-23 weeks, but at 27 weeks my babe recently kicked and punched me at the same time - kicked near my cervix and punched me by my ribs. No joke, simultaneous, like she was reeeallly trying to get my attention. A couple of hours later, she was in a totally different position. So far the only position she hasn't been in is head down, but she's often transverse (either side) or feet down.

Lol, minus the cervix part I'm pretty sure I've done this to H while I'm sleeping. It's only fair if I get the same treatment from the baby eventually.

Baby can totally be that low. I had an ultrasound a few weeks ago to check that my cervix was still high and closed after some cramping and the head was right there.
