We love "Minerva Louise on Christmas Eve." She's a silly chicken who gets confused (like the reindeer are goats with fancy horns, and the sleigh is a truck who's wheels have fallen off). DS is 2.5 and thinks her "mistakes" are HILARIOUS. He'll say "nooo! Ha ha ha."

hermione, pugz and others, what about a non-religious specifically santa book? I'm thinking reading a book about who he is and what he does will help familiarize DD so that when we go meet him, she'll be excited rather than terrified

Oh we totally have Bear a Stays Up for Christmas! C read sit like a thousand times a day and whenever I say bear she points to her hair.
Llama Llama has a Christmas book out this year and so does Little Blue Truck.
N got this for his birthday. I don't like the story as much as the other books (spoiler: it's him driving around christmas trees), but it lights up at the end, which is pretty cool.
I was reading the Amazon review for this and someone was offended that it breezed over the reason for the holiday season and only focused on the hustle and bustle. I rolled my eyes a lot, lol.
