And NSV (non-scale victory) these pants fit! That made my evening when I tried them on last night.

There is neither leather nor lace in my OOTD. I don't own anything of either (except leather shoes and bags). I am pattern mixing instead...I am spending all day at a nursing research conference and then have six hours of classes tonight. My brain will be destroyed by the end of the night!

Morning! I have leather on my pants. Hard to see so I got a close up pic. I'm having an absolutely freaking horrible morning but at least I got my leather and lace on!

RP - the Melissa buttons. I think I'm taking the SE Penny ones back as they hit my knees. I was in Nordstrom yesterday and the MBs were on sale. I was the crazy lady stroking all the boots. The Fryes I swear are addicting. No other leather compares. Didn't help that I tried them on and other people saw me trying them on and at least 4 other women had to try them on too. I got a ton of compliments and I was sold. LOL.

Then I got home and realized they are pretty similar to the Carson Tab ones that I have. . I think though the MBs are a little dressier as the Carson Tabs are more distressed and casual. At least that's what I'm telling myself, I need a super casual pair and more dressy pair...right??? The shapes are similar, the MBs are slightly taller but flat soles and the Carson ones have a small heel. Different enough right???
