Winter workout pants that is easy to remove?

Once I am in the gym, I like wearing shorts and a tech shirt for workouts.

I am looking for some easy on/off pants I could put on over my gym shorts and can quickly remove without having to take off my gym shoes when I get to the gym.

Any ideas? I am also short (5'2")

I have a pair of pants that I use for this purpose that have a zipper near the ankle. They are Adidas I think. I probably bought them at TJ maxx or equivalent

I also use pants with zippers at the ankle. I bought them from Target a few years ago. I don't know if they still make them.

I have a pair of sweats from Old Navy that I wear in the winter.

They are bootcut so they're easy to get on and off over my running shoes.

I can pull my wide legged yoga pants off without taking off my shoes.

They still make pants with ankle zippers and snaps. That is actually their function - so you don't have to take your shoes off!

I agree the ankle zippers/snaps pants would be good- I'm picturing nylon ones that I used to wear for soccer back in the day. If you check around online or at a sporting goods store they may even make fleece lined ones.

Yeah, I know there are there snap away pants but I could never find ones that were short enough! I think wide legged pants/bootcut pants are something I'll look into- thanks for the recs!

I wear a pair of sweatpants from my college swim team days that are boot cut. I am far too old to wear anything with writing across the ass, but the gym can deal.
