I made DD a jellyfish costume out of an umbrella - it's so cute! It turns out we're not even going ToTing this year because we`ve been invited to a Halloween party though... ah well. We`ll use it next year. (to clarify, it`s a costume-free party)
DS is going to be an astronaut or a clone trooper. He has both costumes just for dress up and keeps changing his mind. He wore the astronaut outfit to Boo at the Zoo...not sure what he will choose Friday. DD is dressing up as a cheerleader.
We wanted to get a Dora costume. She is obsessed with Dora and she would've loved it. We didn't get around to looking at costumes until yesterday. She picked out a butterfly costume, probably got influenced from the Dora butterfly ball DVD.
Caleb is a chicken. It's really stinkin' cute, too. He's just over one, so he definitely won't be eating any candy, but I'm still taking him ToT. I have to show him off.
Add me to the list of people with DDs going as Elsa. Have you all seen the picture going around Facebook about drinking every time an Elsa shows up at your door?

This was the best we could do with pictures today. And yay for being the only mom at the freaking moms club party in any kind of a costume at all, let alone this monstrosity.

Thing 1 and Thing 2....yep been done w/ twins like a million times but they're in a major Cat in the Hat phase (I read that book 10 times a day easy...) so I went for it. We most likely won't be ToTing, though b/c no one really does in our neighborhood, they're still on the young side, and it's supposed to be freaking cold. Next year I'll probably take them to my mom's neighborhood.
Dd is going to be Anna. She wanted to be Elsa but they didn't have any more wigs so we went Anna instead. I got hard cider today for the drinking game.
Chickencoop, I need to borrow your DS to go w/ my kiddos....what a fun photo-op that would be He looks adorable!
Right? I was originally thinking H and I would be T1 and T2 but, yea, no. But DS came up with the idea himself so he was actually excited to get dressed up
This will technically be his first year, I guess. We go to my parent's because they actually have neighbors and the last 2 years DS just gets ooooh'ed and aahhhh'ed over, now he'll actually get to trick-or-treat lol.
And I plan on eating like, 80% of DS's candy....is that normal? Not cuz I don't want him to have candy (well, within reason I guess), but really just because I like candy and he won't know the difference...should save this for Friday I guess....

We still might do Doc Brown and Marty McFly, but i never really got it together to turn the wagon into the delorean and the skateboard into a hoverboard.
Cole (1 years old) was Dennis the Menace this week. Overalls, slingshot, frog in pocket, and cowlick in his blonde hair.
Mason (3 years old) has an I Spy costume i made with random objects glued to a shirt ... crayon, penny, feather, buttons, etc.
DS1 Daffy Duck DS2 Bugs Bunny and the oxygen tank will be a big carrot.
They were the same thing last year but Ds1 insisted they do it again this year. Of course, I threw Daffy Duck away last year because it got gross in the rain but bugs still fits.
My son is Nate and we call him The Nater Gator, so we decided he would be an alligator for Halloween. My husband put a "tick-tock" sound in his suit (a la Peter Pan), just to add another element of fun.

If we were TOTing, I'd totally eat all the candy....have fun!!

I'm pretty sure this is why you have kids.
raraavis28, I'm pretty sure Thing 1, Thing 2 is like a twin mom rite of passage. We did a Dr. Seuss themed birthday party and the boys outfits were Thing 1/2. It was adorable!
