DD has had rash issues on her bottom for a while. The med that pedi prescribed didn't do much. We have a new prescription. I also need to switch to All Free and Clear, and some good unscented soap. Any recs? He suggested Dove for sensitive skin. Yay? Nay? I admit, I'd rather use a body wash…bars suck. Any body wash recs?

This Babyganics wash has been the only thing we've used that has not given DD a rash or made her freak out that it was burning. I use it on both kids, and it DS' hair. DD gets coconut oil conditioner in her hair.
DS has had eczema since 6 months old. Our pedi also suggested Dove sensitive. We use it and love it. DS skin cleared up quickly and he has few flare UPS now. Of course, we do all the other stuff too, free and clear and whatnot.
DH & DD both have bad eczema. I used to make my own laundry soap, but have gone back to All free & clear since we now have super hard water & I can't get the ratios right. We use Dove unscented bar soap for us & Aveeno baby for her maybe once a week depending on dirt/sweat levels. We also don't use any fabric softener or dryer sheets. For rashes, we have the Rx creams, but coconut oil w/ shea butter works just as well sometimes. We've also had success with a mix of different oils with a few drops of Geranium essential oil (don't laugh and no, I don't sell them ).
DH and I have eczema and our kids have pretty sensitive skin. I also use the All Free & Clear Detergent, as well as the Bounce Free & Clear dry sheets (and I only use half a sheet and it works fine). DH and I use the Dove Sensitive Bodywash and love it (I hate bar soap too). The kids have been fine with the Honest Company bodywash. I also find that the foaming handsoaps and ones that are heavily scented make my hand eczema flare up, so I use the clear Method brnad soap. Good luck and I hope she feels better soon!

Bar soap is much gentler on skin than body wash. I have eczema myself, and when I run out of my current bar soap, which is too harsh for my liking, I'll be switching to goats milk soap.
