CurlyQ284 How did the boots fit? I wore mine for the first time doing the family pictures last weekend. They were really cute but definitely need to stretch a little though. I got the wide calf not wide width though. This didn't feel like it needed its own thread.
I am having stress about Thanksgiving already. DH has announced he doesn't want to host because it is expensive which it totally is. However, we don't really have a better alternative that doesn't exclude someone. We have talked about going out but really that sounds great for everyone but me who will end up dealing with the 1yo while everyone eats and has a nice time. I don't want to be a holiday scroog but it is happening.

I came in to work early today to try to get ahead so I can leave early tomorrow & our internet is down. I can't do anything. I've been playing on my phone for an hour. Should have slept.

I ended up getting wide calf and wide foot. They definitely needed to stretch. I wore them around my house with thin socks for a day and then I've worn them a few times since then. I wish I could wear them more often because I love them but when I'm just going to/from daycare it's easier to just slip on my unfashionable clogs from 2 years ago.
This was just posted on FB with the caption "Do you REALLY want to eat that little piece of candy?"
Why yes, I fucking do.
Ugh! Maybe I'm just In a bad mood today, but this shit makes me so mad. Same with all of that "eat right during the holidays!" BS. No. I don't want to eat mashed cauliflower. Fuck off and leave my holiday food alone.
Also, I had vivid dreams last night. In one, a woman was trying to quote Corinthians to me while we stood on the beach and I looked out on the sea and could suddenly see all these things that didn't exist like buildings and ships and such on the water; it was really beautiful.
Ds woke up crying at 10:45 last night. He has sttn for a year and a half now so this is really unusual for him. He's been coughing quite a bit, sounded like he was starting to get stuffy, and has very little appetite. When I went to go get him after he woke up, he was a snotty mess. I had h fill his humidifier and we put one of those Vicks pads in the humidifier. So he is home with h this morning and I'm going home at lunch to take over. He didn't want daddy last night when he woke up so it should be interesting to see how he does this morning with him. This will be the first cold he's had ever. My poor baby.
I had parent/teacher conferences for dd this morning. She is doing awesome in everything except math. Her teacher said they took an assessment test a few weeks ago that had subtraction involving borrowing and dd actually broke down and cried because she couldn't do it. I guess we will be spending time each night working on math. Poor girl. She is just like her mom....loves to read and write, but hates math.
