I heard a coworker say, in regards to that nurse who was quarantined in NJ and is now arguing that she shouldn't need to be quarantined in Maine: "Well, I don't want her to DIE, but I really hope she gets Ebola."

Is this the "bless you" coworker, because saying that to her would have been the perfect response.
No, but Bless You agreed with the one who said it!

I have a friend who overheard a bunch of my former colleagues talking smack about another former colleague on the T. His ears perked up when he heard them say where they worked. He was on the red line.
Some of it is kind of "meh." Sort of like some American Chinese restaurants, they can have a bastardized versions of some dishes to conform with what they think people want (and, probably to keep their prices down). But I have had some VERY solid Indian food in small-town curry houses, and some of the best I've ever tasted in the bigger cities :-)
We've had indian food in our neighborhood and it's actually quite good. I'd say even better than what I usually have in the US. To be fair though, the indian food I used to get in NYC was at a "hole in the wall" place close to my office. The food I've had in London was from a pretty nice restaurant.
