Has anyone read this book? I'm listening to it on CD during my commute. It's about the UW rowing team that wins the 1936 Olympic gold medal in Berlin. I'm just over halfway through it but it is SUCH a good book. Of course the main focus is the rowing, but it is also about life during the 30's - the Depression, rise of Hitler/Nazism in Germany, the Dust Bowl, etc. Highly recommend it for anyone that likes non-fiction books that read like a story.

My dad first read it a couple years ago when my sister was on UW crew, it's an amazing story! I still haven't gotten around to it, but everyone I know loves it.
