So in our new playgroup there was a girl named "il.y" pronounced eye-lee. When I asked how she spelt it she said I-L-y it stands for the initials I love you. Interesting it sounds pretty but the explanation was right up there with nevaeh to me.
How do teachers do it now? There are so many different spellings for the same names and so many "made up" names, I think I would pronouncing and spelling them wrong all the time.
