If you have taken clomid, on what day did you ovulate, or how many days past finishing the clomid? My doctor told me it's usually 5-10 days after the last pill, but I'm just curious to hear about real/specific experiences.
FYI this is my first clomid cycle, I took it CD 5-9, today is day 13. OPK's are still negative, and I am not feeling any twinges or little pains like I normally do leading up to O. I am going in for an ultrasound tomorrow, so I will get more information then. TIA!
I finished my first round with Clomid last cycle. I started mine on CD3 and finished CD7. I got a positive OPK on CD15. This is pretty standard for me. I usually O between CD15-18.

I've taken 4 cycles on CD 4-10, with the idea being that I would ovulate on day 14. I have PCOS and actually haven't ovulated most of these cycles, but 14 was the targeted date.
This is helpful, it sounds like most of you were at least 7 days after the last pill before ovulating.
I Was hoping I'd be on the earlier end of the 5-10 day spectrum, but I don't even care how late it happens as long as it does! I haven't even O'd on my own since June, so I am just hoping that I will be among the 80% of people who do ovulate on clomid. We'll see!
Are you on Clomid because you are anovulatory? Or do you O on your own?
It seems to me from what I often see on forums and such that if you are anovulatory you usually O later on Clomid than the girls that do ovulate by themselves but still take Clomid. Not sure this is scientifically proven or anything but anecdotally that seems to be the case.
So I'm anovulatory (PCOS) and here's my experience on Clomid * Cycle 1: 50 mg CD 5-9 = no O * Cycle 2: 100 mg CD 5-9 = O on CD 22 (13 days after) * Cycle 3: 100 mg CD 3-7 = O on CD 18 (11 days after) * Cycle 4: 100 mg CD 3-7: today is CD 21 and I have yet to see any fertile sign at all, O does not appear to be close

I sometimes ovulate on my own, but not every cycle. Maybe on average every 3 cycles, and my cycles are long, average 38 days. I don't have PCOS though, and haven't been diagnosed with anything.
I had an ultrasound yesterday and the doctor said I had one follicle at 2cm, which means i should ovulate in the next couple of days, probably today or tomorrow, he said. They are sending me for bloodwork next Friday to check progesterone to see if I actually did ovulate. I am hopeful!
