"Why would you ruin perfectly good peanuts by adding candy corn? That's like saying hey, I have these awesome nachos, guess I better add some dryer lint." - Nonny
And up until today, DS did not want to carve a pumpkin. He doesn't like touching the guts. Fine, whatever...but if you're not touching the guts and you're 3 (so not using the knife), we'll skip the carving, He was happy with the one he painted at a harvest festival. Until this afternoon. Now he wants to carve a pumpkin. "Mom! When will we carve a pumpkin? I'm not going to touch the guts, but you can do that part! We need a pumpkin!" I'm watching a friend's son tomorrow, so I won't be able to get to the store to even buy another pumpkin until after lunch. He naps & TOTers start coming around 4! Not sure it's going to happen!

K still doesn't get what Halloween is, but they had trick or treating at all of the businesses in our downtown area tonight. His costume was a big hit.
He really got into picking his own candy out of the bowl and putting it into his bag. We are just taking him to the neighbors tomorrow night, but it should be fun.
