It's snowing and people are acting brand fucking new. This is not the first time it's snowed on Halloween people. I'm dead certain it won't be the last. GO SAT DOWN and take your crazy assess off Facebook.
Ugh.
Lexi woke me up at 4:30 this morning and my bagel was not as advertised. I need a do over.
I had a dream that it snowed today! It snowed 3 or 4 years ago on Halloween so I guess I was subconsciously worried about it.
I had so much fun at the pole party last night. I kinda wanted to hang out at the bar afterwards but HORDES of college kids started arriving right around midnight and they were unbearable. Ugh.

I went out to get a pumpkin to carve last night, and the only ones left were the ones that kind of look like they have barnacles all over them and small pie pumpkins. I opted for a pie pumpkin, so we have a baby jack-o-lantern.

I fear that my greatest paranoia about my jewelry box has happened...I think my college ring has fallen behind the ring holder. That more of a random. But to rant a little, I think it was probably caused by not putting it away properly while being annoyed by H.

Rant- I SWORE we were getting out at 3 today, but sadly, we are not. BUT if we finish our work (which mine is ongoing, so whatever) we can IF our boss allows it. My boss probably won't allow it unless others are as well. Womp womp
Rave- H made, ummmm, "butter" last night to make caramels tonight and I am looking forward to trying them. Kids get their candy and I get mine!
I have a rave that is probably a rant for most people - I LOVE that the Christmas season starts so early (especially here). The holiday market is open in Bryant Park, I was giddily looking at decorations in Century 21 last night, and some of the lights they put over the streets in my neighborhood are already hung. I cannot wait to decorate my apartment! It just makes the whole "getting dark at 5pm" thing so much more bearable.

My mom is one of those people who gets all discombobulated by DST, and I don't get it. DST, jetlag, etc - whenever I wake up, I look at the clock, and my body is like, "ok, cool, I will act accordingly." I guess this really has more to do with being able to fall asleep anywhere, anytime. lol
I guess my body just has no concept of time. If I sleep the same amount of hours it makes no difference what time I sleep. If I got up at 3am and worked an 8 hour day and went home and had dinner and went to bed for 6 hours it would be exactly the same.

I found an amazing cajun/creole restaurant. It is less than 2 blocks from my (sometimes) office. I am in heaven, earing red beans and rice with andouille, and beignets. So. Good.
