Ok, no idea what is going on. I have an HSG scheduled for today, so wanted to "check, check, and double check" that I wasn't pregnant prior. I had a period this month, and the first day was heavy, then "eh" for a day. After that, nothing for a day (very unusual) and then red spotting/light flow for a day. So, I thought for sure, no way I was pregnant.
Then, I take a test today, and there's a freaking line, only its horizontal instead of vertical. What the hell?!?! Is this a line??? It's super faint, and on the lower 1/3 of the test screen. I'm thinking it's just a faulty test?
I see the line without having to do too much squinting. Is it possible they put it in the wrong way when they assembled it? Go buy more tests and pee and all the sticks (and report back)!

HSG is now over...it took 1 minute and 36 seconds (yes, I had him time it). Tubes are totally good and we are not firmly in the "unexplained infertility" camp. RE wants to give it a few months of trying on our own, in case this fixed it, and then in January we will discuss next steps if we haven't gotten pregnant by then.

Mushe, that's exactly what I thought too. On one hand, I'm glad nothing is wrong. On the other hand, I'd like something to declare "fixed!" and we can blame that for why we haven't gotten pregnant yet. Sigh...what a mind game!
