We survived the 15 month appt. 24lb 9.5oz, 31 inches long, 49cm head circumference. And 2 shots. Pedi was happy with everything, especially his words and that he is finally walking a bit.
Now I just need my husband to get home from work (on his day off) so I can do the grocery shopping and take the dogs in for nail trims. He went in at 630am to finish inventory (after being there until 2am last night) because the manager that usually does it is on vacation and the third manager isn't trained on how to do it. I'm pissed for him, he's exhausted and needs sleep so fucking badly. Days like this make me want to pitch a fit and scream that he needs to get a different job or else.

Holy crap @tokenhoser, that's a lot of money, I had to reread that several times to be sure I was understanding the numbers correctly. What is the logic behind your severance disqualifying you?

Logic?
LOL.
The logic is I got money, so I don't get EI, despite the fact that I wasn't on EI because I was unemployed. It's all my EI payments from mid-October thru July 1.

Took a page from the MMM handbook and told DH I was going out alone to thrift store shop this morning. The baby was fussing when I left and I could tell DH was annoyed but I was all, "Have fun byyeee!" I've been doing it all month, dude, get used to it.

I was working from home this morning before I left for the airport and it completely threw M for a loop. He kept melting down and I felt so bad for our Nanny. He totally loves his routine. It makes me wonder if there is some thing else there like some OCD but how do you tell in a 2 year old or is this normal 2 year old behavior?

I think this is really normal. C gets really thrown off if we switch who does daycare pick up/drop off, or if we don't stick exactly to his nighttime routine. (Example: we let him watch an episode of MMCH last week after dinner and before bed and he was just totally confused and fussy after.) Toddlers cling to routine because it's all they know, KWIM?
There's a mom from DD's dance class last year that's trying to police FB lately and my eyes are rolling right out of my head. Last week she was chastising people who were reposting negative news stories and today's she's posting cute animal pictures to "get away from the negative stories and videos". Gag me.
She's also into beach bodies and it's probably elevating her to BEC territory for me lol.

Holy crap @tokenhoser. That sucks!
This morning I had to take DD to a speech appointment at the hospital. As we're in the elevator, a woman gets on and tries to make small talk with DD. Then she lifted up her shirt and pulls a teddy bear from waistband and shows it to DD. Thankfully, it was our floor and we got off. We register and go sit down. DD and I are talking and then she says "Why did that girl have her stuffie in her pants? That's gross, right?"

Had my 38 week check and she's still very comfortable in there. So I'm glad we're going to make it to DH's company party, because it's at a really cool venue that I've always wanted to see. But the tired pregnant part of me is also ready to just have a baby. Not too long now! We had the big family party yesterday. My brother and SIL are having a boy! I was right and I'm so excited for them.

for anyone curious: I'll be paying the government $512 for the next 34 months, but it appears to be interest free... so I'm going to take 34 months. They'll also keep my tax refund, so it will actually be a smidge less than that.
Damn. At least we can swing it, but there goes a lot of fun money.
