What's going on?
Nothing too exciting here, basically looking forward to buying stuff for the house/continuing to unpack. Hopefully we are getting our sofa soon (said that last week!) Also our apartment building is renovating the lobby this week and it's going to be a PITA - so I'm looking forward to that being done!
I'm looking forward to Sunday - no plans! We can relax and work on the apt together.
Monday - Get internet set up at new house, change address places for move, unpack at new house Tuesday - OKC trip with mom Wednesday - OKC trip with MIL and SIL Thursday - hopefully an easy day/packing at old house Friday - finish anything at new house that needs done Saturday/Sunday - finish fence/ move in to house!!!
I took today off for my birthday, so this is going to be a four day week leading up to my week long vacation next week! No real plans for this week, just looking forward to having a chance to take some real vacation time after this week is over.
Happy Birthday katespade! Hope you have a wonderful day!
bk1- How exciting!!! So happy that you are finally moving into your new home!
I'm looking forward to:
1. Finding my mom a place to live. This has been hugely stressful on everyone (between her income requirements, two dogs, and location there aren't many options and most are in horrible neighborhoods). Praying she finds something this week; otherwise, she will have to come stay with us (which she doesn't want to do because we don't want to take the dogs...my aunt can take the dogs temporarily though so this isn't an issue).
2. My friend's baby shower on Sat! So excited to see her. We were roommates in college and haven't seen each other since her wedding in 2006. She had to terminate her pregnancy last year at 20w and it's been amazing to see how God has used both our journeys to bring us closer together. She's had an extremely rough pregnancy this time around but she's 30+ weeks and baby is still cooking (she has weekly cervical checks because of constant braxton hicks contractions since 23w).
3. Hopefully getting my mom scheduled for another procedure to remove her fluid. She's being stubborn and not wanting to do it til after Thanksgiving (she wants to get moved, wants to feel ok for Thanksgiving, etc)...hoping her doctor has a difference of opinion today and encourages her to get it done (she's noticeably in pain all the time).
4. Hoping my cold goes away. I've been sick since Friday and it's pretty miserable. I just want to be able to breathe again!
I have a doctor's appt tomorrow morning so I'm excited to check in on baby.
We bought new Sonicare toothbrushes yesterday so I'm looking forward to a full week of using those. Super lame, but our Oral B ones died a month or so ago and I've missed the squeaky clean feeling. I also ordered a bunch of crap online yesterday so later this week should be tons of deliveries. I ordered pet meds for my mom's dogs as a surprise because they are super expensive and I wanted to help out. Excited for those to arrive on her doorstep unannounced!
My parents' initial divorce hearing is on Friday. Fuuuuuuuck. No idea which way that's going to go.
And finally, I think I'm going bridesmaid dress shopping with my BFF on Friday.
It's my last full week at work! And I'm probably taking two days off, lol. I have a ton of sick time, so my new director has been encouraging me to use some of it since I don't get paid out for it.
That's pretty much all we have going on, which is good. We might have my parents over for dinner on Saturday because they have not seen the nursery progress.

Congrats on your last full week of work! When are you going out on maternity leave? Will you work a part time schedule for the next couple weeks? Enjoy- that's awesome that you can slowly transition to maternity leave and not have the stress of working full time!
I'm also in my last full week of work and only have to go into the office 1 day this week and 1 day next week! So excited for maternity leave to finally be here but also kind of sad to be saying goodbye to all my wonderful co-workers (although I will bring C in when I have my 6 wk PP appointment).
This is my last full week before I go to PA to visit DH's family. I'm looking forward to acupuncture on Friday. We'll be decorating for Christmas on Saturday.

Thanks! My last day is technically next Wednesday, but I think my boss might be closing the department for Thanksgiving, so my last day would be Tuesday. I'll be done after that! No more working for the foreseeable future, which is kind of crazy.
I've kind of been working a part-time schedule the last month or so with taking random sick days. I'll get paid out for almost 3 weeks of vacation and comp time, so I'll get a nice check in December.
Congrats on your last full week as well! I'll have about 6 weeks to do whatever needs to be done around the house, which gives me plenty of time without stressing too much.
I'm looking forward to the next Hunger Games movie coming out. What else...oh yeah, I'm expecting a package to come in the mail from Victoria's Secret this week with some Christmas gifts for H .
I have been sad today, and legitimately couldn't think of anything I was looking forward to, but I didn't even realize the new Hunger Games movie was coming out this weekend!! Now I feel marginally better, haha.
I am also thinking of breaking tradition and putting up Xmas decorations this weekend, since we'll be away for thanksgiving it would be nice to come home and have it all done. So that could be another thing to look forward to.

My mom, my sister, and I are going to Tallahassee for my brother's senior game! I am so excited!! They bring the families on the field, and it is a big to do. Plus the game will be exciting!
I am also looking forward to TG, even though I have another week
@emtmissy- you can tell your H that in some places thanksgiving is over, I'm going to pull out our decorations today or tomorrow. I won't put most of them up yet but I want to pull out the wreath I bought last year. (It's a plain one I bought with plans to decorate it so it's unique.)
-DH and I are going away this weekend to a hot spring/town about 4 hrs away. I am excited as we haven't had a "us" weekend in a long time. (This is the trip where we are spending the rest of my WC money.)
-spending some time this week with my cousin and grandma.

I forgot a couple things...
1. Breastfeeding class tomorrow night 2. Our Christmas tree arrives tonight! I think we are going to go ahead and start decorating early...DH really wants the tree up (so he can make sure he likes it) and at least we have a decent excuse for early decorating this year.
awick14- Hope you and your DH have a wonderful time together this weekend! You two totally deserve it!
pooh8402- Hope your appointment goes perfectly! Seeing the heartbeat is truly one of the best moments in pregnancy! So happy for you guys!

Trying our last IUI cycle, and we're going to do back-to-back IUIs tomorrow morning and Wednesday morning. I've got everything possible crossed. Other than that, excited to go to FL next week (yeah, I'm cheating!) and then our cruise!
