We're taking PF to see Frozen On Ice and then heading to my ILs. It'll probably be the 3 of us, My SIL and her family (3) and my MIL/FIL. It's sure to be a fun filled time with my MIL freaking out if I sneeze and insisting I call the doctor and both MIL and FIL treating PF like she's a baby.
My parents and I will be in NJ with my grandma on Thanksgiving! We're going to a restaurant with my grandma's next-door neighbor and her family, like my grandma's done every year since my grandpa passed.
I'm bummed that I'm missing out on my cousin's Thanksgiving dinner by flying back on Friday. Oh well.
Also, I get to see some fabulous bitches the Tuesday before Thanksgiving! I'm so excited!
We are flying down to my Parents house to pick up my Mom and Brother, then flying up to my In Laws for Thanksgiving in South Carolina. I am really excited about it. It should be fun.
I'm going to my parent's for the week. I rented a condo on the beach so I'll get in some good beach time hopefully. I cook Thanksgiving dinner so I'll start that process probably Wednesday.
I am skipping all family functions this year. I know I'll be stressed out about finals, and I don't feel strong enough to deal with their passive aggressive bullshit without getting tossed back into a spiral of depression. Just thinking about it gives me anxiety.
So I'm planning to spend the day sipping tea, studying, cuddling with my cats, focusing on the nice meal that H and I going to make together (and we'll probably take some food over to my sweet SIL). We might even take a long walk if the weather's good. I think it will be a nice day
I'm pretending the holidays don't exist this year. I still may be running a turkey trot, but otherwise I am going to plan a lot of non-holiday activities for that day and treat it like any other day of the week.

Doing doriswe's idea of takeout and lounging doesn't sound like a bad idea at all!

Yeah I may do something like that. I haven't figured it out yet.

x2! This is how I prefer to spend NYE, anyway. I'd absolutely enjoy indulging in a bunch of Chinese or Indian takeout and watching all the movies in lieu of any holiday fuss.
I *hate* NYE. Before I dated P, I would always go to bed by 11pm . The people that hosted a party last year are out of town this year. I hope that gets us out of having to do anything. Lol.
I prefer to stay in on NYE and watch the ball drop in Times Square live at 9pm, call my friends and family, and then again at midnight.
This year I'll be attending my friend's cocktail party at her place. Because I'm the one who suggested the idea and she insisted I be there. She's the one whose husband is friends with wedding guy but they both already know I don't want to see him. As of right now I'd want to grab and kiss him at midnight but that wouldn't end well.
ETA: Sorry for the downer post. Feel free to ignore the rambling.
DS will be with his dad and bear's kids will be with their mom, so the 2 of us are going to bear's mom & grandma's house.
On Friday, we have plans in the morning... bear has never ventured out on Black Friday. So the plan for Friday is for him to lose his Black Friday virginity and then we'll pick up all the kids.
We're making our own Thanksgiving dinner on Saturday.

Not really T-giving related, but I've been wanting to say that you seem really, really happy these days.

My sister, her husband, DH, and I are converging on my parents' house. Not sure if any of my aunts/uncles will be there, too.... Black Friday pm is my high school reunion. That's about all we have planned!
I think we'll make a small thanksgiving feast here for just the four of us and enjoy a quiet day all together. Maybe watch the parade on tv or indulge A in a Disney movie. I'll maybe talk H into making a pie.
I'm excited my neighbors and I are having a thanksgiving this Sunday. We are all bringing something. I'm making a Apple Cranberry pie and polish pierogis.
Lol...I see my plans have made it here! I do the turkey trot with DS every year, we grab hot chocolate at Starbucks and then I dump him off at his dad's. DD and I will grab take out and chill at home. Maybe we'll hit up a movie.
Eta: never have I ever done thanksgiving like a normal person!
Thanksgiving day is just H and me. Friday afternoon the kids/kids-in-law/grandson and my brother will be here. This will be new for us not to have anyone with us on Thanksgiving day but that's life.
