It's 54 degrees out right now and raining. I have been bone-chilling-cold all day, for no apparent reason. Our masters pool is outdoor (but heated), but practice is 7:30-9:00pm, so after dark. I am struggling with the motivation to go and swim, because it just feels like the kind of day where it would be better to hang out on the couch/watch a movie with R.
UGH. Someone kick my ass out the door at 7:00, please. There is *no* reason why I shouldn't go, except that I don't wanna. (Cue whining and foot stomping.)

Just think how happy you'll be that you went. Swimming in an outdoor heated pool at night sounds really cool actually. All misty and such.
We stayed in the outdoor pool until it was snowing regularly last year. Oh my God. So cold.
BUT, I just kept hot tea in a travel mug on the deck instead of water, and after the initial 50/100, it's all good. You will feel like such a rockstar! And then get a hot tub or hot shower RIGHT away!!
Go! You will feel awesome and so much better if you get it done. And I'm being selfish. Go out there and Inspire me. I've got my mile attempt tomorrow mornonh in the cold dark rain. I need my swimming muse out there to inspire.
